I usually order every Friday from Gills / Broadway fryer and it never fails to impress! The fish is always cooked to perfection and although some of these reviews have mentioned the fish being undersized, I have to disagree! I can never finish my meal as it is simply always more than I can fit! I will always use this chip shop and I will recommend to friends / family.

Always ordering on a Sundays and sometimes Tuesdays, always on time or early, food is fresh and tasty. Never had any problems

Top Notch Fish N Chips! High quality fish in light batter, mushy peas weren’t sloppy and chips were golden and fresh. Delivery from Uber Eats was remarkably fast and driver was pleasant. I’ll order again! 🐟 🍟

10 Feb 23 - 2 large Haddock and 1 small portion of chips. Both the fish and the chips were excellent, beautifully cooked. In fact we enjoyed our meal so much I telephoned the shop to let them know. The fish portion was of a good size with very good batter; crisp, crunchy and tasty. One small portion of chips at £2 was sufficient for both of us. The majority of the chips could only be described as proper fish shop chips (with a few scrappy off cuts - not unreasonable). They definitely have our future custom.

Food is always cooked fresh and to an excellent standard. Staff are very friendly. We won't use anywhere else if we want fish and chips. By far the best in gosport.

Ordered a burger and chips here on a lunch break and the young lad who served us was extremely polite and professional as well as giving a quick service. Food was also good quality and not very expensive.

Our first visit. The fish was cooked to order lovely light batter. Both fish and chips delicious. We will be going again for sure.

Delivery was fast. Paid for large fish and chips and got an extra large cod! My son got a mix doner and said it was the best he has had. Overall 10/10

Ordered from here last night as visiting the area again, Once again food was delicious and we paid for what we got. Cant fault Broadway Fryer at all, The guy who delivered it was very friendly aswell and delivery very prompt.
