First visit to this place, but it won't be the last. The food and service were outstanding! Fantastic menu, and everything was cooked to perfection. I'd recommend a wee visit if you're looking for a place to eat in Gourock.

Went in on the off chance as was at teatime to see if we could get a table as it was our anniversary, we were welcomed and given a table and sorted with drinks while we looked at menu, I had the cajun spiced chicken which was outstanding and the wife had the chicken fajitas, let's say both our plates were empty, great food great prices, also heard another customer say when paying his bill that was the best he'd ever had, think it was a spag dish. Would highly recommend it..

Fantastic waitstaff at this Indian restaurant. The food is fresh and the naan is fantastic. I had the 2 course meal for L10.95. The samosas were good. The chicken curry was really good! Come in for a visit and stay awhile.

Tulsi Indian Aroma is a popular Indian restaurant located in Gourock, a small town in the west of Scotland. The restaurant offers a range of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori dishes, biryanis, and vegetarian options. The restaurant is located in a beautiful spot, with stunning views of the nearby river and hills. Upon arrival at Tulsi Indian Aroma, the first thing that struck me was the warm and friendly welcome from the staff. The restaurant is well-decorated, with traditional Indian artwork adorning the walls. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with dimmed lighting adding to the intimate atmosphere. The menu at Tulsi Indian Aroma is extensive, with plenty of options for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. I started with the mixed pakora, a popular Indian appetizer made with a variety of vegetables and spices. The pakora was delicious, with a crispy exterior and flavorful filling. For my main course, I opted for the lamb rogan josh, a classic Indian dish made with tender lamb in a rich and spicy tomato-based sauce. The dish was excellent, with the lamb cooked to perfection and the sauce bursting with flavor. One of the standout dishes at Tulsi Indian Aroma is the chicken tikka masala. This dish is a British favorite, and Tulsi Indian Aroma's version is one of the best I've tasted. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the creamy tomato sauce was perfectly balanced with the spices. The service at Tulsi Indian Aroma was excellent throughout my meal. The staff were attentive and friendly, and they were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu. The restaurant was busy, but the staff managed to keep up with the demand, and my food was served promptly. In terms of pricing, Tulsi Indian Aroma is reasonably priced, with dishes ranging from around £7 to £15. The portions are generous, so you definitely get value for money. Overall, I would highly recommend Tulsi Indian Aroma to anyone looking for delicious and authentic Indian food in Gourock. The restaurant's warm and friendly ambiance, combined with its excellent food and service, make it a must-visit for anyone who loves Indian cuisine.

Came in with my family, thinking it was going to be just a standard Resturant, we were all amazed by the food and presentation. The staff were also fantastic. It's just a shame I don't live in Scotland as I would go back there regularly as the food was out of this world. Wanted to take the chef home with me. We had the 3 courses (£24.99) of a set menu, if two people have the 3 courses they receive a free bottle of wine, so two bottles of pino went down lovely. You can't fault the prices or food and staff. Absolutely amazing I can't rate this place enough!

2nd review 3 years on. New ownership now Big difference now. Fantastic food. Great quality and no longer a buffet place. Staff are warm and welcoming. Fantastic table service. We had hired the room upstairs. Got its own bar. Very cosy for a family get together of 30 people plus. Food delicious I should of taken more pictures. Overall would defo go back to this place for a meal. The food you get is a lot for the plate. Can't fault the place now well done new owners.

Totally terrific!!! The four of us ordered 3 mains, a spinach dish (saag paneer), rice, pappadom, chana puri, lamb ragan josh, butter chicken and more!! Gorgeous and delicious!! The garlic naan was extraordinary. Some of us were not Indian food fans… But we are now!!! “For the first time of Indian food, it was amazing!!” Be sure to come to this place. They had a table for us on a crowded night. The atmosphere was calm and lovely.

A great menu with effort and detail put into the cooking. Each dish is cooked from scratch so it may take a bit longer than average to get your meal after ordering. But it will be worth the wait. I'd certainly recommend the game bird!!!

First visit and not disappointed. Lovely atmosphere, waiter Alex was informative and knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The food was fresh and delicious. The chef came out to chat....very encouraging. A reasonable bill for four with shared starter, mains, nanns and two drinks £120. A very enjoyable night.

10 of us including a 3, 10 and 15 year old. Went out for 6pm. Good variety of meals for all of us Was midweek and dining in was quiet but plenty coming in for take away collections. Didn't take any pictures unfortunately but there was plenty given from the mixed grill, curries, naans, fish n chips and the kids meal too
