I liked everything very much. Service at a high level. You can take food with you or eat in a cafe. If you decide to stay in the cafe, you won’t have to stand at the counter waiting for your order; the cafe workers will come up to your table and take your order. While waiting for a delicious dish, you can order a pot of tea. The food is fresh and delicious.

Just called in for teatime fish and chips as staying the area. Looks to be well used by local community. Food was very good. Service was excellent, they really made us feel welcome. Good value for money.

Really nice. Reminded me of school chips and gravy, absolutely wonderful. The butchers sausage was lovely as well. This will now be my location for chippy Friday! Cheap as chips too.

Really loved this chippy. They have such a good choice of food & drinks.They cater towards gluten-free, vegetarian, specific dietary needs. You just let them know that what you need, nothing is too much trouble for them.
You can eat in or take away & prices are fair too with good-sized portions. We go here every time we visit the Lakes they're that good. I'd recommend them to anyone visiting the area.

Great value for money, just went in for a light meal, 2 small chips (one with cheese), battered sausage and the pizzas balls only came to around £12; small portions of chips was hardly small lol and food was hot and fresh. Service could've been quicker, staff seemed to clear all the orders on tab rather than adding more as they went but we weren't in a rush and the chippy wasn't busy so it wasn't an issue, food was also made very quickly after we ordered so again it didn't matter much. Lots of room to sit inside or out. Recommend 👍

Amazing batter on the Fish, best ive had, a very tasty fish n chips with curry sauce. Nothing was left, I will be back and eat in with the doggo next time!

I have tried fish and chips across the country and these are the best fish AND especially the chips I’ve been ever had in my 25 years of life, BY FAR. The chips were extremely crispy and fluffy on the inside even after they had travelled! 11/10 yum. Satisfied customer who will be back

Really nice fish and chips, ordered a large and got two pretty big pieces of fish per portion. Only lost a star as it was a bit greasy. A solid fish and chips though!

I fully recommend this cafe/ chippy. We found it while on holiday in the area. Inside is spotlessly clean, and their fish and chips plus other meals on the menu are extremely delicious. The staff are very friendly as well, and fun to talk to.
