Popped in for lunch before walking over to see the Kelpies. John recommended his bacon cheeseburger, barbqued smoked beef brisket and barbecued bone broth loaded fries with Mac n cheese on the side. All was delicious and he sat down with us and we talked of all our travels. Great conversation. Go there!
Was quiet time of the day.. bar staff and chef was very friendly let the food do the talking. Biggest short rib ever so succulent and tasty. Worth every penny

Brilliant night at their Hogmanay party. Only £25 for food and entertainment. Bar staff great, atmosphere amazing.
Dropped in while overnighting at the Kelpies. Decent food and dog friendly apparently on google. No food available on a Thursday evening and no beer on cask. I can’t imagine how grim it would be if this was my local.

Local Celtic bar. I popped in to watch the rugby and they were happy to change over to the game for me. Very accommodating and friendly. Lovely venue. Sell food I'm the day. Dog friendly in the bar.
