The Green Man - Grantchester - Photo album

Wow. What an incredible meal from start to finish! Very difficult to park, it's a shame because I imagine it's one of the larger reasons people may struggle to travel here to try. Parking sharing with the nearby green king would do wonders! The waitresses were incredibly kind and jolly throughout
Excellent food, micheline star standard. Service is top notch. Impressively, Barry cooked himself and he has done amazingly. It is shame that the atmosphere isn’t vibrant, no cocktails and no car park like the next door pub.
The Green Man is a Grantchester institution and it was a sad day when the place closed several years ago. It is great to see the place given a new lease of life, although it's a bit less spit n sawdust than it was and more gastro than pub. Notwithstanding this, it's still nice to see an old run down
We stopped in here a couple of months ago on our e-bikes as we were cycling round Cambridge . I noticed they filmed here on the GodManchester TV series. Lovely pub
The Green Man in Grantchester is a really lovely old pub, but over the last few years it fell into disuse and almost ruin. Happily it has now been acquired and refurbished, and is offering mid to high end food. I went there last evening in a group of six, and to a man/woman we all really enjoyed our
Exquisitely good food, and a lovely setting. Highly recommended.
The Green Man of old has closed and reopened in this refurbished setting in the picturesque Village of Grantchester. Part of the car park has been covered over and now reflects a decked patio, leading onto the beer garden that gives out to the river. The selection of beers and gins is adequate.
Really well executed and presented food, great flavours, with friendly and attentive service.
Good food BUT very expensive and default 12.5% service charge, when the service isn't great, is unacceptable and meant the bill for 4 people was over £300. If it had been stunning, no problem, but it wasn't. No wonder it was half empty on a Friday night. I wanted to pay cash but was told only cards.
We have been waiting A LONG TIME for someone to have the vision to fix up and reopen this pub! They have struggled to get started, but it’s well worth the wait! The new head chef Barry Vera serves up an amazing menu. This is NOT pub food, it is FINE DINING and is reflected in the pricing. Our fear i
I would have posted more pictures of the food but it was eaten too quickly! A lovely walk (or cycle) along the river from Cambridge will bring you to Grantchester, and this delightful pub - the interior is like stepping back in time, from the wood-burning fireplace to the wooden beams and the solid,
Lovely Little Pub with Charm and Good Food. This place is full of charm as most of the Pubs in small villages in Europe seem to be. The food here was good and plenty, although the selection was rather small. The brew was just as good and there was plenty of selection for drinks. The ceilings are l
