Great place, Jude is the nicest guy, really accommodating to a large order quite late. Really, really friendly and gave us some free curry sauce! Really lovely, 10/10

We now always use alma Park fish bar as the chips are lovely and fluffy inside and crispy outside the fish (only tried cod) had lots of flavour and not overly oily. Live the fact we can get savaloys here too a big favourite in our house. Lovely staff.
As a visitor from Essex this was a lovely find, huge portions, great fresh fish and a very reasonable price. Really happy with the vegetarian range too. Will definitely be back on the next visit!
Large cod OK but a little lacking flavour, nice portion, forgot to pick up curry sauce I paid for, didn't bother to go back
Called here while the car was being MOT'd nearby. Just ordered some chips and curry sauce. The chips were freshly cooked, dry and really good. Staff friendly, so will return. 5* π
Delicious Fish & Chips - Best I've had in Years.. Will be calling in every time I'm over that way... Nice place, super friendly staff, very clean and hygienic, good selection and variety. Would recommend - keep up the good standards.

Only tried this chippy recently after living in the area for years and regretting not using it earlier! Lovely chips and crispy bartered fish which is lovely and flaky. Food greasy at all and lovely service.
I have been trying to make my daughter more independent as she's getting older so once a week we have a treat of fish and chips and her job is to go to our local chip shop and order it, everytime she has been she has come back super proud of herself and extremely happy with how she was treated, they are always really nice to her and they even help her out with her order when she needs it, we are new to the area but this is and will stay a our go to fish and chip shop :)
Food is of course absolutely lovely as well their battered sausage is the best I've had and gravy is absolutely amazing!
Best chips in town, they even have an award to prove it. They often have homemade treats such as battered pigs in blankets at Xmas and cottage pie. Treat yourself and be sure to try the gravy.
Best fish and chips in awhile , fish was excellent quality and the batter was so crispy and not at all greasy, and the chips (new potatoes )were fantastic. And service with a smile and friendly chat.
Beautifully cooked, all fresh and tasted lush, curry sauce was superb.

Been going to this chippy for years, it's never been as good as the new owners have made it. Recommend that you try their specials (especially the curry and rice!) Top service, top food, top chippy!
Have used the chip shop a couple of times since it has been taken over, lovely food, hot and fresh. Friendly staff, good prices. Would use again π
