Reviews of Costa Coffee

This was my 1st visit to this Costa.Its a good size & does have around 22 ish seating table options inside (theres no outdoor seating area)these are all on ground level .It's quite spacious inside & at the time of my visit(9.45am Sat 14 Oct 2023 ) it wasn't too busy,most of the tables had been cleared of used cups /trays etc & wiped down ,but I noticed the carpet could do with a good hoover/clean .I found the Staff on duty to be very pleasant when I inquired about the availability of tea cakes and placing my drinks order which was a medium Cappuccino, small Gingerbread latte along with 2 toasted tea cakes.The stencil for the chocolate sprinkles on my Cappuccino wasn't used which would of been a nice presentation touch otherwise the drinks were fine & the teacakes were nicely toasted. Cash or card payments are excepted..On this experience I would definitely return back when visiting Grantham.

Overall we enjoyed our experience today. Areas that could improve are (1)although we both used our own Costa cups we only received 3 beans instead of four. (2)only one toilet in operation which wasn't particularly clean (3)we had to clear our own table and the chair coverings are dirty and shabby. Things to work on when your paying top end for coffee.

Staff are friendly and polite, especially in uncertain times. Everywhere is being cleaned on a regular basis. Tables are cleared away as soon as to enable people to sit in. Be patient as service is a bit slower than what it was. Track and trace in-store via QR code at the entrance and at the till both easily visible.
