Food is not only lovely with good portion sizes but presentation is good also. Afternoon tea and cakes is a must. Nice quiet setting where you relax whilst eating the fare. Outside catering for functions also available.

I have had a couple of experiences with Petticoats over recent months. The first being they catered for my marquee based wedding. Julie was fantastic, helping us with planning and providing everything we could possibly want and more. Nothing was too much trouble, and Julie went above and beyond in so many ways, including making a cake and getting a present for one of our young guests who’s birthday it was on the day. The pricing was unbelievable for the fantastic food and service we received. We received so many compliments from our guests regarding both the main and evening meals (even though the generator we provided wasn’t playing ball). The canapés were a particular favourite!
We returned over the weekend to celebrate my Mum’s 60th birthday and Petticoats didn’t disappoint - Fabulous food and brilliant service once again! Loads of food was provided and my mum took multiple trays of leftovers home. The atmosphere was brilliant and we will definitely be returning soon!

Just delightful. They have the post war theme spot on. Great WW2 newspaper posters on the wall. Service ladies in cute aprons. And the icing on the cake appropriate music. Ideal for targeting the 65+ market

Absolutely precious place! Wonderful food, wonderful service, wonderful people. If you are looking for a fantastic and authentic tea room, this is the place. Completely recommend, they were so nice and the food was so delicious!

Lovely dog friendly tea room. Reminds me of having a cuppa with my Nanna during the summer holidays. We both had a lovely breakfast which was reasonably priced and very tasty. The dog was given a bowl of water and biscuits and made to feel very welcome. We'll be back again, next time for cake!

Amazing food, amazing staff and an amazing experience, we often go out for breakfast/lunch and this is by far the best in Grantham!!! Wish I could give 10 stars!
