Very good food at a reasonable price. I had the home made fish pie which was excellent and my partner had the duck and pork spring rolls which were also excellent. I'll be honest with the traditional look of the pub I wasn't expecting the food to be as good (nothing wrong with the pub) just the food is restaurant standard. Friendly staff and plenty of drink choice. Oh and dog friendly with a 'dogs dinner' available on the menu which our dogs wolfed it down.

Lovely pub, great atmosphere, friendly staff and the food is stunning! Had a roast beef sandwich that was so could I could've wept. Didn't stay here to can't speak for the rooms but the bar/restaurant is definitely worth a visit - highly recommended. Also good gluten free options.

My wife and I had a superb lunch at this lovely pub. A very pleasant surprise, with the sea bream with crushed potatoes and chorizo-paprika sauce being very good indeed. My wife enjoyed the excellent fish and chips followed by sticky toffee pudding. Beer was in great condition too and served by friendly barman and staff. We will return.

Four of us had a meal here at lunchtime. We weren't expecting the food to be so good. Unfortunately I only took a photo after we had finished. The fish pie was scrumpy and packed with fish and a tasty sauce. The Pork Belly wasn't fatty at all having been properly slow cooked and the crackling so crispy. Scampi and chips was great, and the Sea bass on pea risotto excellent. Great beer and wine completed an excellent lunch. Happily go there again

We didn't have a room here but came for a meal. My husband had a very nice shepherd's pie with vegetables whilst I had fish & chips followed by sticky toffee pudding & and custard, which was delicious. Our dog was also welcomed with treats & was made a fuss of. The pub is in the middle of Grassington village & appeared to be popular.

Fantastic pub in the heart of Grassington. A real fire means it's always cosy whatever the weather outside. Friendly, attentive staff and landlord. A good range of well kept beers etc and soft drinks at very affordable prices. Also a great range of tasty fresh food from "light bites" to full meals (including a good vegan/vegetarian range). It is also dog friendly. If you are in Grassington this is the place to get food or drink. They also have rooms but we were day trippers so cannot comment on them.Highly recommended!

Great atmosphere, superb food and great selection of drinks including beers. We visited Monday night to eat, drink and watch football on the TV. There was also a great quiz the quiz master was very entertaining and the regulars made us very welcome.

Absolutely wonderful pub and even better service. Came for just one night from York with my wife and dog and spent the evening in the pub. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable and the staff were unbelievably friendly. Highly recommend

Never stayed in the rooms so I can’t comment one them, but the location and service we received were excellent. It’s a lovely country pub, a proper pub. Love it
