We had a meet-up of around 25 friends in the spacious open area in the back of the pub. The staff were incredibly accommodating, regularly going out of their way to support our event. We had a wonderful time and I would thoroughly recommend TJ's to anyone looking for a space to hold an event!

Definitely one of my favorite pubs in town, it is beautifully decorated and always impeccably clean. The back garden really is quite amazing and they have a beautiful indoor room you can have parties in out back, the food really is quite incredible.
Tom & Iris have always welcomed myself and my family and I enjoy getting to share a meal with them or have a chat with Tom who I have known for 20 years or so now, wow.
Tara, the puppy and the real boss of the pub, loves belly rubs and is so beautiful!

A beautiful place, we were 25 friends all enjoying the beautiful back area, the atmopshere was like a garden, the front bar is a cozy pub and bar
The service is impeccable, the owners were delightful and were helping make our stay that much better with little attentions.
The food is great, homemade and you can tell the care it was fresh.
All in all, I hope to come back here someday !

Lovely pub, always good to visit, always a friendly greeting, the staff soon get to know you (as does Tara, the Irish setter, together with her pups, Toby and Tilly). Good beer, good wines. Food is simple (apart from Sunday roasts), but freshly prepared and nicely presented. Good function room. Cream teas are to die for (have to order in advance). Tuesdays there's a simple two-course lunch available at a very reasonable price so older people (in particular) can come out and meet, with social activities afterwards, because Iris and Tom care about the community.

A very good pub with excellent friendly service. They also use this place as a music venue for open mike evenings. The pub is quite large and is very busy at the weekends. A good selection of ales.

Delicious traditional Sunday lunch with all the trimmings.
All sports catered for ( with a slight rugby bias....TJ likes his Rugby!!).
There's a few odd comments here but those people must have been somewhere else! Possibly not on the planet. This is a friendly welcoming pub/restaurant with a great mixed clientele and wonderful bar staff. Highly recommended!!

I visited this bar for a friend of the family's wedding anniversary. Both the food and the service were excellent. The venue was very good and we were kept separate from the noise of the bar, where an important England rugby match was being shown on the tv.
