The staff are very helpful and polite Food is of the highest quality Ask about lots of dishes and every thing was explained in detail I hade a take out order and can honestly say would not hesitate in going back will be having sit down meal on wed were I will be giving a review I can honestly say if any body is looking to go for a meal then please give this restaurant a visit u will not be disappointed 5 star does not give this restaurant high enough in my professional option I can honestly rate this as 1 of the best indian restaurants in thurrock

Great hospitality and food Went here Saturday with my bro in law and enjoyed the traditional cuisine You can always tell the quality of an Indian restaurant if there are Indians eating in there ! Great music. Decor nice and the waitress couldn’t have been more hospitable. Will be going back

Won a free banquet for a wednesday night got there early n staff let us in they were very welcoming n the food was lovely n well presented on plates the staff kept asking if we were ok which was nice of them will definitely be going back there soon

Haveli grays are the best Indian Punjabi restaurant. I always dine in this restaurant only!!! They are so good at service, specifically, the waitresses are so polite and good there! Food is always the best. Fantastic place to eat with your family. To be honest you can always have good complimentary stuff there!!! Very friendly people there.

For those of you looking for a proper Indian restaurant that has a home cooked style rather than commercialised, look no further than Haveli on Orsett Road. They are also available on Just Eat. I have eaten at this new place 3 times now and tried something new on each visit. The food tastes AMAZING! It really reminds me of my mums cooking and she’s a tough one to beat. I really recommend trying their chicken karahi, choleh sabjee (chickpea curry) and punjabi saag with maki di roti. All the food is cooked fresh, yes including the saag! 👌🏼 This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the owner his team are very polite and caring towards your needs. Finally a proper Punjabi restaurant has arrived in Grays! Can’t wait to visit you guys again!

We came here first time at the weekend and a fabulous time! They made us feel so welcome.The place is full of Indian art work and is very clean and tidy and keeping with the rules for restrictions with Covid 19 they are always cleaning every 10mins. The food was the best Indian food we ever had and it is pure Punjabi Indian style way of cooking. The waitress was amazing and well mannered and polite and outstanding service! This place is great for grays for a real Indian restaurant which is the only one around that tastes great. 👍

Went in to order a takeaway and the staff were so friendly. Stood there talking to the bar man about the area! Food was out so quick and when i got home it was still very hot! The food tasted great, will definitely be going back again. 100% recommend this place.

UPDATE Had the owner contact and speak to me personally today. He took my comments on board and assured me this is a one off. Having been contacted and speaking with the owner direct I will be happy to give this restaurant another go. Having grown up eating punjabi food I can give you an honest review of this place. Especially if any local punjabis are looking to try it out. Our order Popadoms - soggy Butter chicken - at £7.50 I would expect more than 6 pieces of chicken in it. Full of thick sauce but have to say it was proper punjabi style butter chicken. Torka daal - not even edible so much salt couldn't eat it. Paneer tika masala - again mostly sauce but tasted ok. Plain naan - no complaints Keema naan - had better at non punjabi restaurants. Overall it was ok glad we tried it out.

From the first moment you arrive in this place the vibe gives you an enjoyable feeling. Very friendly waitress and the guy who owns it seems very friendly and professional as it is a good place to to go out with friends and colleagues or with your family with Excellent cooking, professional chef, good price and excellent service. Highly recommended. I would say to our punjabi community it is the best punjabi restaurant in the area! Awesome flavoursome food! Great menu! Amazing attentive staff! Love the service! Can't wait for the place to reopen As just very traditional style Indian cooking.

Proper Punjabi restaurant! Don't believe all the bad reviews as people talk rubbish! This is a proper Punjabi restaurant the only one in grays the food I had was amazing! We are from grays and it's the first time we have found real traditional Punjabi food. Big portions and well manned staff. Will definitely come back soon well recommend and definitely Indian chefs at their best as 100% traditional Indian desi style 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
