I went there for lunch and had their lunch deal. The salmon was really good. You can see that it was fresh as not the usual salmon fillet that you got from the supermarket.
There were plenty of seating and it was nice to have the air conditioning during the hot day.
I will go back again next time I am in the area.
This place was amazing. We just arrived in the UK and i'm happy this was one of the first places we came to eat. I recommend the chefs special and any of their cocktails were good. The staff was awesome. I believe our waitress name was Martina. She was excellent!
Great atmosphere. Nice friendly people, Halal food and great menu options. The starters and meze are very tasty as to is the Turkish bread. In my opinion personally I prefer this place to London chains such as Gokyuzu where the portions have reduced and prices have increased. Turkish tea is also provided complimentary after the meal. Would definitely come back again. Also forgot to mention that the lunch menu has 1 starter and main for £12.50 per person which is great value.
Good food, good atmosphere and best service.
Just ate at izgara and was served by a tall slim lady she was absolutely lovely and amazing service . Atmosphere was excellent ! The whole restaurant was super clean and spotless . Even the chef and waiters where so kind hearted welcomed us in and said thank you as we left. I have been coming here for 10 years , number 1 restaurant in grays!
I initially thought the price was on the high end for Grays prior to booking. After dinner, it was amazing, the service, the food portion and the taste.

Went for dinner with my fiancé and best friend, had starters, mains and baklava to finish. Food was great, portions adequate. Service prompt and professional. Prices reflected the quality of the food and service. Will visit again
We booked Izgara restaurant for a family member's special day. Igzara is a local gem and I hope they continue to thrive and get all the success. The workers there were so patient with us, it was amazing. We had 15 people booked at the restaurant and we left with no complaints. They never got annoyed or frustrated with us. They were so helpful! Their food was amazing. Every one of us was really happy with the food. The meat was nice and tender. The chicken was nicely cooked. The bread, salad and sauces were all tasty. If you come in a big group, their family and jumbo platters are very tasty.
I would definitely come back to Grays, just for Izgara.

Beautiful food, everything was so tasty! Great lunch deal, with a huge selection of starters and mains plus free bread and the best sauces. Great customer service too, Aylin was lovely and very attentive :) highly recommended.
Love love love this place food is great people are great and the cost is great! Best Turkish in Essex I've had my birthday meal here, bringing about 30 people with me, and the food was all cooked from fresh xx
