My friend lived in the area and recommended we go to this pub as he had a fantastic time when he went recently. I thought it was friendly and inviting. I ordered the Caribbean style jerk chicken skewers with chips (£10.99). It was good but a bit oily. He ordered the Dopsu no beef burger (vegan, £9.49). He said it was really good. There was some live performances in the karaoke portion of the evening. My friend got up and did a duet with one of his work colleagues. This is a nice local pub!
The food was excellent and a family friendly atmosphere, the only nitpicking was we had to wait abit longer for the food and as it is summer ( June ) the whole place was roasting hot. It looks like they are short of staff but they managed to work with the staff they have. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will be going there again
Ordered the steak and rib tonight. Honestly the best ribs I've had to date. The steak was as expected and overall great experience the staff are friendly and talkative felt very welcome. Please ignore the Karen sat next to us tonight as she clearly put more of her days spending into her hair cut and realised she couldn't afford the full price of her meal. To put nicely. Still handled like professionals. Great pub would go again.
Staff were great. Food was grand. Language from a group of men at 5pm on a Saturday was a bit choice, especially as they were with their own children. Not great in the family bit, but that's a clientele issue. Just unfortunate on that occasion - would not stop me visiting again.
Went for a family meal, me, hubby and the kids. Good value, great prices. Service was efficient although you have to order at the till. Kids meal for under 5’s, good portion size. Sometimes at other venues the plates can be overloaded. Vegetarian options, very limited. The only meal they had that my hubby wanted to order, they didn’t have any of. But they was fine with us ordering extra nacho’s and a few more sides as a main. Didn’t feel rushed, ate and drank at our leisure. Would recommend.
I come here every week for a breakfast and it’s always cooled perfectly, staff have always been happy and helpful.

Service was very good today all the bar staff were helpful and polite. Recommend the treacle sponge for dessert, mine was delicious. Also remember to enter your car registration if you drive there.
I recently had my gender reveal her we ordered the gold buffet to serve 40 would of easily served more people. Food was amazing stuff lovely and inviting. They went above a beyond to help us with setting up and the service was good. MJ was great when dealing with this booking and with the help from Luke managed to serve everyone in a timely manner. The food runners willow and Daisy was always on hand to help with any questions and getting us boxes to box up the cake ect. Over all it was a lovely and special day we are glad we decided to have this event here.
Visited here over the weekend for food and drinks, the service was outstanding and the food tasted absolutely amazing. This is a great pub with a great team. Emma is a lovely person who always looks after every guest to come through the doors. We will definitely be back again soon.
Lovely atmosphere. Was served quickly at the bar. Friendly staff. Delishious meal and dessert. The portion's were good as well.
