The Bayleaf

Food, cannot fault it. 100%. I test Indian restaurants with their Onion Bhajis. Perfect. No uncooked bits of gram inside, like some I've had. I was a bit taken aback when I arrived. Empty restaurant with one table taken on a Wednesday night and was asked "have you booked sir?" I nearly died laughing at the nonsense. And no-one else came in all night. No one had booked!!! Why ask?

It's a five start all the way for me. My family, friends & I have eaten at and purchased takeaways from the Bayleaf for many years and they never disappoint. Fantastic food, friendly staff and according to my father-in-law "The best Biryani that he have ever eaten" A must visit if you've not been before. Andy Clague

Always really good food and attentive service. Very pleasant decor inside. If i noted one very minor downside though.....the aucoustics need to be damped down a little. In a full restaurant, the aggregate volume from dinner's normal converations, seemed to produce a composite noise that was intrusive and made it difficult to hear conversationson your own table IMHO.

Farnham WI BNR curry club met again tonight at The Bay Leaf in Grayshott, what a fantastic turn out! The table and restaurant was laid out very well, the atmosphere was so enjoyable. The restaurant staff were very attentive and the food was very good indeed. Lots of great conversation and lots of laughter, as we all tucked into our tasty dishes. By the end of the evening there were smiles all around, even a staff member (who took a group photo) was a cheeky chap and photo bombed us too, much to everyone's delight. Top night! 🤩😁🍷🍛🍺
