We had a fabulous afternoon tea for mother's day thanks to Home Cooking by Elizabeth. She was always very quick to respond to my multitude of questions, even a last minute panicked request for pretty cutlery. I was able to put together the menu with her to suit everyone's needs. The food was beautifully presented on lots of pretty plates ready to pop straight into the stands provided. The sausage rolls were divine (delivered still warm, they were so hard to resist!), everyone commented on how tasty the roast beef was and the lemon cake was to die for! My only criticism was there was so much food (although I have enjoyed having scones for breakfast this morning and finger sandwiches for lunch and both mothers also had a goody bag to take home so no real hatdship)!! All the crockery was collected seamlessly today. Thank you Elizabeth, my mother and mother in law were both blown away and I got to sit back and relax too. I am already looking forward to planning another event with you!
Elizabeth is amazing & her food is awesome!
She catered for my 30th wedding anniversary party for 60 with a combination of hot & cold mains followed by a delicious selection of deserts, teas & coffee. I could completely relax & enjoy my party with complete confidence.
All the food was scrumptious & the compliments from my guests was so positive, many said they had not seen such a beautifully presented selection of tasty food. Her attention to detail & professionalism combined with her excellent culinary skills means Elizabeth is a real gem. I cannot recommend her highly enough & will certainly use her again.

We received a beautiful three course meal delivered to our home for a birthday treat, and wow! What a treat it was.
If, like us, you are missing the fine dining experience then you need to order some of Elizabeth's wonderful dishes.
We had the seafood platter, lamb shank and crumble and it was absolutely perfect.
You will not be disappointed!
Very friendly, helpful. Lovely with our dogs. Food was generous and tasty. The meringue in particular was delicious. They were attentive to the guests without being fussy or intrusive.

Elizabeth and her team catered for my baby shower in Feb 2023. I chose an afternoon tea, which was delicious and fabulously presented - and also came with extras such as fruit and cheese kebabs, sweet and savoury tartlets, smoked salmon blinis. (I actually declined the blinis, part of the set menu, because I didn't think our guests would be able to eat that much! And I was right...the servings are generous and almost everyone was able to take home a doggy bag.) Elizabeth proved to be really flexible about this sort of thing, even adjusting the price accordingly. And, most importantly for me, she was able to adapt flawlessly for different dietary requirements. There were vegetarians, vegans, pescetarians, diabetics, coeliacs and neurodiverse individuals who struggle with certain food textures. None of this came with a cost penalty and there was no compromise on quality or taste. Elizabeth provided cake stands and all crockery (lovely vintage style), which we didn't even have to wash before handing back. All in all, I have no hesitation in giving Elizabeth five stars and I am so grateful to her and the team for helping to make my baby shower the wonderful event it was. Will definitely use again in future!

We first got in touch with Elizabeth in Summer 2019 and finally, we had a delayed celebration of our marriage in July 2022.
This is a long review, but the summary is that Elizabeth is an experienced, kind and talented caterer.
There are so many wonderful things to say.
Elizabeth was so kind in committing to be our caterer even with our continually changing dates.
Our dream was to have plenty of delicious food so that there was something for everyone at our wedding celebration and Elizabeth helped us to create a wonderful menu. Many of our guests commented on how lovely the food was, the deserts in particular. We went for a hot buffet, with nice details such as starters on the tables, and second rounds of all three courses for all our guests!
Elizabeth provided a huge range of options to help us work within our budget. She also arranged for left over food to be boxed up so we could enjoy it the next day, which was great as I hate waste!
The team of staff were outstanding. Elizabeth arranged for some to stay on after the main meal to keep the venue clean and tidy, serve the cake and man the bar, as well as presenting the food that we provided ourselves for the evening. They did every part of this to a high standard, were kind and professional. I felt we were constantly in safe hands, and it was clear that the staff enjoy working for Elizabeth, which is important to me.
One of the things I wanted was personal touches, and Elizabeth was so flexible that these things were easy to incorporate.
Elizabeth is well connected and knew our venue and evening food provider very well, which made the process even smoother. Table linen, glasses, etc etc etc were all organised and excellent.

We chose Home Cooking with Elizabeth for our wedding celebration at home with friends and family. Elizabeth and her team are phenomenal from beginning to end. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The food was truly delicious, the service was impeccable, polite, professional and the kitchen was left immaculate. The planning was exceptional and all queries and questions answered thoroughly. A valuable asset for your party.
Elizabeth was amazing from start to finish and handled all the catering for our son's wedding for over 150 guests. The food was excellent and also the staff who worked very hard and some stayed on to help serve the drinks and clear the tables. The chef cooked the most delicious food and I knew all was in good hands 10/10 and would welcome them all back. Thank you Elizabeth and team.

I couldnāt have done it without Elizabeth!
Arranging a wedding celebration in Covid times is definitely a challenge and without Elizabethās ideas and support I donāt think I could have done this.
We wanted a Caribbean menu, and Elizabeth researched and sent many options. She also made a sample meal for us to try over Christmas and then altered the dishes based on our feedback.
Throughout the planning process, Elizabeth was so helpful and would reply to any questions that we emailed to her. She gave us recommendations for a cake, marquee and flowers, and these were all excellent, despite us putting in and amending our orders at short notice.
Elizabeth arrived on the day to set up, while her daughter Lucinda was in charge during the event, and what a fantastic job Lucinda and her team of 5 did for us. Good quality linen and cutlery were all provided and set up with precision. The food was authentic and delicious, and was served following Covid rules. We provided our own drinks, but these were organised and served by Lucinda and her team. When we noticed that ants were crawling all over one of our tables (one of the risks when having a party in your garden!), the team quickly dealt with this without any of the guests realising! When the team left, the kitchen was immaculate.
What more could I ask in a very stressful, unclear Covid situation?! Elizabeth Home Cooking came to the rescue on all parts. Thank you.
