Lovely community pub that has been beautifully refurbished (toilets that would grace a boutique hotel!) Nice beer selection and lovely people. Don't miss the lively open mic night on the second Thursday of the month with some great local musical talent on display.
Excellent Local Community Owned Pub.
Regular events, live music, quiz nights, racing nights, occasional live sport, etc.
No kitchen at the moment but regular food outlets attend setting up in the car park.
Reasonable drink pricing and always a warm welcome.
Great friendly community pub that serves a good selection of beer and cider that varies by season. Always made to feel welcome.
What a nice find. There today with a group of fellow motorcyclists. Made most welcome.

The first time in 28 years I decided to drop in on the way back from a classic car show.
I found a pub run by the community and what a delightful experience. So well done for keeping the place open and improved.

A warm and friendly community run pub which just better better. A good selection of beers ales and must try rhubarb and vanilla cider
What a brilliant place. Opens as a cafe 10-12 Wednesday morning, and is obviously VERY popular. Keep up the good work. Will try and make it for a beer when I can get a handle on the buses!
Always a nice atmosphere at the Cross inn and at £3.00 a pint how can you not give a thumbs up. The local community have really transformed this local pub, it's always rewarding to see the passion from the locals who support the pub. Tonight they had a three piece folk band. The music was very good and yet you could still have a conversation and still enjoy the music.
This is a pleasant community pub, it's recently been refurbished and is a good place to go for a quiet drink. They don't do food at the moment, but if you want to get a takeaway delivered they'll provide plates and cutlery. It deserves your support.
