What a lovely place it is here.
It was full of diners by 7.30pm which to me shows it has a good reputation. All our waitresses were really lovely and attentive.
The food here is absolutely delicious, you get a fair size portion too. Highly recommended 👌
Enjoyed a lovely meal last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Service was great and we weren't waiting long . Definitely will return.
5 stars doesn’t do this place enough justice! Food was phenomenal and reasonably priced for the high quality. Service was faultless, every member of staff was attentive and the service was rapid but we didn’t feel rushed. We would recommend this place to anyone and will certainly be back!
Ate here last year to celebrate a friends birthday, good pub Sunday Roast. Came back a year on to celebrate again and not disappointed. Very busy, excellent service, lots of staff and very attentive. Our party had roast chicken, lamb, beef and steak and ale pie and no complaints. Hope to be back soon.
Great lunch - partner had the best steak he has had anywhere. This is high praise indeed! Desserts were fabulous. Sparkly clean, traditional environment with good staff & plenty of them. Lovely beer garden outside & stunning hanging baskets. Thank you for a lovely meal. All staff were polite & helpful except one.
Visited The Bay Horse as a party of 7 on a Friday lunchtime with ex-colleagues (retired). Food was excellent, timely served and good value. Can't rate the staff highly enough, friendly and highly attentive. Best to book as it appears to be very popular and rightly so.
Absolutely fabulous. Food brilliant. Took a party of 13, Everyone enjoyed so we booked another meal next month for 20. Follow up family meal.. Everyone loved it.
Excellent parmo and chips with salad. And good beer. First rate. Service very friendly and helpful. I much prefer the bar/lounge area over the formal restaurant eating area. Roaring fire in the winter. Comfy chairs and tables. Some outside seating but near the main road. Big car park. Just watch your head if you're tall, the low beams pose a risk! But it's worth it, lovely venue.
Great Sunday Roast. Topside of Beef was tasty, well cooked and served very quickly. Love having the veg served in separate dishes. Nice staff, friendly and helpful. Drinks delivered promptly. All in all a nice dining experience. Thank you, all 4 of us agreed we'll be back.
