Hi , trouble is that most fish and chip shops , cafes etc are generally struggling in 2023 with the economy as it is. We have been using Barnard's Green Fish Bar for years. Is the chippie perfect , no but I have never had a bad meal and my only complaint is that the chip portions are to large.Chips will vary throughout the year depending on what potatoes are used. Please if you have had a bad meal phone them up and inform them you were dissatisfied with the meal. If you feel that you comments are not taken on board then take your custom elsewhere.

Amazing Gluten Free fish and chips. Phone through the order, and only waiting a few minutes to receive. Great understanding of coeliac so good has separate fryer, uses different utensils and placed in boxes in a separate area. They didn’t have GF vinegar, but did sell it, and wasn’t overpriced.

Nicely cooked fish and hot. pity chips were almost cold, would appear that they were standing around while fish cooked.

Wow!! Our last night on holiday and we fancied fish and chips! We was so impressed with tonights take away from here. We ordered the mini fish and chips which was cooked fresh and was great value for money! It was easily enough for a small adult! We also had meat and chips which was equally as delicious! The amount of people coming in while I was there, you can tell this is the place to go!

Best local fish and chip shop, no doubt. Wide range of food on offer. The fish and chips are superb. Prompt and covid-safe service. Gluten free fish and chips on a Friday and Saturday and have never given our daughter with coeliac disease any issues. Highly recommended.

Had a choice of two other fish and chip shops including a mobile one at our campsite. So pleased I chose Barnards. The fish was beautifully cooked, the portions where excellent and the service was good.

Probably the best fish & chips in this part of the world :) Freshly prepared food for very reasonable price and even though I'm not one of the "smaller" person, I've had a big problem to finish my cod with chips so it's definitely worth to wait few minutes during busy periods.
