First time at this carvery as a family birthday meal and the staff were great and the food piping hot, meat was cooked perfectly well for us,all the vegetables were also cooked lovely & piping hot too.
Play area for the children (we didn’t use this as they played outside for free as indoor is around £3.50 I believe?)
Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff so we will definitely be back for another meal very soon.

Oh my days, what a great place to eat. The staff are brilliant. The carvery carver was amazing and got a cold plate for my son instead of the skin melting plates.
Plenty of drinks options and parking.

We had my mother in laws wake here. It was her favourite restaurant and i can see why. Staff are super friendly. We had dinner here the week before the funeral and it was delicious.

We visited on a Sunday (8 adult's and kid's). We had to wait for a while because it was very busy, but we weren't bothered because we found somewhere to sit and had a few drinks. Once seated, we all headed for the carvery. There was a huge selection of meats, and vegetables, plus accompanying sauces. Huge Yorkshire puds. The food was delicious. Fresh, crisp, hot, absolutely fantastic. Couldn't recommend highly enough. We will definitely return.

Food was good. The waitress who bought the food out banged them on the table along with the cutlery. Went there today with my mum and cousin for lunch.

Grabbed a late dinner here on our last evening in Caister. Carvery was as you'd expect at the end of the night, not the freshest and most full of flavour after being under the heat lamps for some time, however still enjoyable. Ordered the Choc-a-Lot Challenge sundae to share with husband, we both regretted it after having just eaten a sizeable roast dinner, but it was worth it!!

Love it here. Food is great, nice variety and beats a Toby Carvery all day long. Good play area if you have kids too. Defo recommend.

Went to Caister Carvery last night for a meal with my mum and boyfriend. There are only two vegetarian options on the menu and nothing vegan, which is my preferred choice. You may ask "then why did you come to a carvery?" And I will say "because I was in the company of two people who eat meat."
I ordered the vegetable lasagne as the other is a burger and I can't eat bread.
What arrived was a salad along side a tiny dish of mainly sauce. After pushing off a good centimetre of cheese sauce I found the 'vegetable' lasagne underneath. Three sheets of pasta and as many pieces of vegetable as I can count on one hand. There was so much tasteless tomato sauce I could have drank my meal. I paid £8.55 for a meal worth no more than about 75p.
The salad was warm, the service was good.

Very disappointed today, usually love a castle carvery but after waiting an hour to be seated and then going up to the queue which took another half hour to get through to get to the meat counter and they had no Gammon cooked which I waited another half hour by this time my family had eaten theirs! I found the front of house staff very rude as I was walking through with my dinner a waiter walked straight towards me and there was no where for me to move to. I wasn’t the only one that I could hear complaining once I got round to eating my dinner.

The food was fantastic. Tasty, fresh and not dry (like most carvery’s can be!) the staff were all really nice and all very helpful even when it was packed out. Fantastic, would definitely recommend

Terrible, just terrible. Both of our 'goumet' burgers were overcooked and dry, my wife's was burned and she took it back. I was too hungry and short on time to do the same, any other time I would have. The response to my wife pointing out her burger wasn't the only awful one was "yeah but he's eating it" -sigh, well done Sherlock.
Buns were also dry and the whole experience was poor, funny thing is we could've gone to McDonald's for half the cost and would have had better food and service, just let that sink in.
No, we won't be returning.

Great place for a family meal. Service was excellent, food wonderful and atmosphere very friendly. Nice little kids playground outside too. Definitely recommend it.

Great place to eat in our opinion, great carvery plus full menu as well, good choice of beers and spirits and staff always seem friendly and helpful
