We came here as it was the first fish and chip restaurant we found. Was the perfect choice! Lovely atmosphere inside, the staff were fast to seat us. Fish and chips were hot and fresh, chips were definitely a highlight! :)

I really wished we lived closer because we want to go back! We had lunch there today. Quite simply the best chippy meal we've had in god knows how long. And dog friendly too! Brilliant. The staff were great. Really friendly and helpful. The food was incredible. We're both vegetarians so there's usual not much for us in a chip shop, but this place is different. I had the mushroom and halloumi stack, and some curry sauce for my chips. Delicious. The only issue I had with the whole meal is that mine was served on a wooden tray thing, with the chips in a wee basket. I hate that nonsense. Just give me a plate for Christ's sake! My wife had the battered halloumi and chips. They were incredible. The lightest, crispiest battery I've ever tasted. She also ordered the onion rings. These were beautiful. Thinly cut, light, tasty batter, and big old onion rings. And plenty of them. Do not leave this place without trying them

A coeliac haven - all fish available gluten free, which means CHOICE!! I have tried most of the menu and although I love the classic cod and chips (and I find their portions spot-on at a regular for one) the battered halloumi and onion rings are firm favourites! Can’t believe they’re gluten free, the batter is incredible. They also have gluten free vinegar behind the counter if you ask for it. Completely dog friendly too, both the takeaway section and the restaurant. I prefer takeaway and sitting by the beach, but the restaurant is nice to sit in too, especially when it’s chillier. There’s a toilet at the back which is always clean and well looked after. As a coeliac, I travel specially here for fish and chips, and it’s my favourite safe place to eat in Great Yarmouth.

Last week we went to Great Yarmouth with family and my cousin’s family for holidays and we had fish and chips from Fish & Grill , we liked the food , atmosphere & service as well but the prices are very high , for eg: large fish and chips they are charging around £18.95. We ordered drinks as Pepsi but we just felt like a glass of water . We just ordered for 2 large Cod fish & chips with 2 glass of drinks and 5 sausages for children for that they charged around £ 87 . There’s a take away shop nearby this restaurant , they’re giving large fish & chips for £8.95😃. We saw the price menu after they arranged the tables for us that’sy we cudn’t go for that . But the ambiance is very nice and tidy as well . Suitable for the family.

Genuinely best fish and chips I've ever had! Girlfriend has the Chicken Kebab - best she's ever had in this country. Great portion size. Only thing is the price, slightly more than usual place but the quality makes this more than worth it. Waitresses were excellent too.

We called today for fish and chips. We had our little dog with us, he was made welcome. We ordered fish and chips twice, one with mushy peas and my husband requested salad with his in place of mushy peas. We both had a cup of tea and a slice of bread, total cost £33.00. The restaurant is clean and well decorated with fresh flowers on the tables. Toilets are available. Service was quick and friendly. Food was tasty, hot and reasonable portion size, prices are on the higher side but you expect to pay extra to sit in comfort and be waited upon.

Halal options of chicken and beef. Kids were eating halal chicken nuggets and chips. It is busy and popular here. Me and my husband had cod and chips the kids food came out super quick which was great because they were hungry. Mushy peas were bland. Roll came with no butter and our drink was forgotten but I didn't feel it ruined the experience.

20 of us were on a school reunion trip at Great Yarmouth from London. We decided to drop in here for fish and chips as it was halal too. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint, excellent and superb food, top top marks and very high quality, no one had any complaints, highly recommended 200%, you must try. Lastly as we nearly took up a quarter of the restaurant and we’re acting a bit like kids, the staff who served us, we very efficient and very attentive, they under pressure and did a fantastic job, considering only 2 covering the whole shop floor, from my catering background, naturally I observe eateries and I tell you, Erika and Danny worked like clockwork, excellent communication skills, very calm under pressure and their service was exemplary 500%! Hats off and nothing but high praises to Erika and Danny, thank you 😊 Owner as discussed, please take note, again thank you all and no doubt i look in visiting you again in the near future. 👊🏽

Family friendly environment, caters for big groups and we had 11 people in total, very easy to be seated with no booking. Read many reviews and Fish & Grill is the only place that openly said that they cook fish separate to all other foods, no cross contamination either which was a big plus. Service is friendly, efficient and food was delicious with big portion. Would try this again.
