Played the Academy Course today and what can I say. It's very picturesque and could be made very good, it's only 9 holes and not 18 as advertised. The Tees and fairways are generally poor but the greens are atrocious with hardly any grass on them and are brown and cracked. Even though the holes are like buckets you have no chance of holing a putt over 18 inches and it's a struggle at that length. I won't be playing it again. It's a shame as with a bit of effort it could be made a nice par 3 course.

Great value through tee off times! Course was a fantastic lay out with multiple clubs taken off the tee. The course was very open to the wind so im sure every day plays different making it a real challenge. Only criticism was that the greens were slow. I would 100% recommend playing this course if you get the chance.

What a disappointment. As a group we play most of the main courses in and around Norwich during the year. This course has gone down hill fast! Grass clippings left on most fairways, pine needles/leaves on several greens and very brown rough greens. We even had a dead rabbit next to the hole on the 6th that had been there for a while! The worst greens anyone had ever seen. Anyone booking should be made aware of the poor condition of the course. It doesn't matter offering a cheaper round (£2 off what we have paid before) it's not worth playing. After our round we went into the club house at 3.50 only to be told last orders were at 3.45 as it closed at 1600! I can't think of any other club where we have been made to feel so unwelcome. What a terrible experience never to be attempted again.

Par 3 18 hole Academy Course!!!! Don't be fooled by the pictures on the website. You have got a 9 hole course that you repeat. The condition is horrendous and is more likely to put off a beginner than encourage them to play the game. The greens are in shocking condition with hardly any grass and the tee boxes are just as bad. Don't waste your time or money going there. Can't say whether it is any reflection on the main course but they should be embarrassed to charge money to use the par 3.
