Food is absolutely delicious, enjoyed the surf n turf with Lobster and fillet steak...so yummy 😋. Thank to Marie the waitress who served us, I think she is new staff but she was so lovely and friendly as were all the other staff but I wanted to give Marie a mention and asked for her name before I left. What an unexpectedly marvellous find!! Initially drawn in by the 'fresh fish' sign, we saw there was a lovely restaurant attached to the shop. Decided to stop for lunch the following day. We chose from the specials, skate wings and I had tuna. Could not fault anything at all. Highly recommend you stop here, but make sure you come hungry!! Delicious food, more than generous helpings. Will most definitely be back.
Very great Seafood, interesting fish, well thought out dishes, kind people, quiet underrated place, variety in vegetables and seafood you have never had before. Delicious lobster.

Spent a very enjoyable evening with the White Swan for a friend's birthday. They happily let me decorate the table with balloons and took the birthday cake to the kitchen to surprise her with! The food lovely, but some changes had to be made to my main (seabass with a leek and bacon sauce) the leeks were off, so chef made a new one with green beans and asparagus....I couldn't find the asparagus 🤦♀️ the fish was lovely, but the sauce wasn't what I was hoping for sadly.
The service was excellent and our waitress was excellent 👏🏻 she was funny, attentive and knowledgeable and apologetic when explaining what had to be changed.
They excelled themselves when bringing out the birthday cake...they had placed the cake on a platter and decorated it with birthday wishes in sugar writing!!! I wasn't expecting that at all and was so happy they'd done that for us!!! They also used all the candles we'd provided and were singing Happy Birthday when they brought it to the table!

Sea food to die for! They do steak too. A charming restaurant by the river. The fantastic staff serving were friendly and very willing to be helpful. The food we had was superb from the Taramasalata starter to the cod and the skate and the smoked haddock, all amazing. 5 stars

This is a lovely restaurant. We came here for lunch on my birthday. We both had crispy salt and pepper squid with salad and sweet chilli dip as a starter. For main course I had Dover sole with samphire and new potatoes, my wife had seafood linguine. All of these dishes were delicious. The restaurant was clean and bright and Michelle, our server was very pleasant. Attached to the restaurant is a wet fish shop with a wonderful range of fresh and smoked fish. We will definitely return.
