We saw Salway on the way to visit a friend, so glad we did.
We were seated at a window table and service was prompt and pleasant.
We both opted for bacon and egg on sourdough bread sandwiches. Simply superb.
A cappuccino and an Amercano to follow, again superb.
A lovely snack.
Salway Cookhouse is warmly recommended.

I enjoyed the yummy English Brunch at Salway Cookhouse today and aromatic peppermint tea.
Most remarkable is the cool atmosphere at this cafe and friendly service, but the food was very tasty as well. Sourdough toast was amazing.

Was walking past and looked an interesting place so I popped in for a snack and what a great choice I made coming here . I ordered a Sabich Wrap, it looked amazing and tasted even better, a taste explosion in every bite.
Great menu ,with lots of choice , everything sounds so tempting .
Friendly staff and great ambiance.
I returned the following day and ordered a House salad with Lebanese spiced chicken , WOW what wonderful flavours ! Absolute deliciousness with every bite .

Excellent brunch and amazing fluffy american style pancakes! The staff are always lovely and super helpful.
I don't agree with people moaning about the prices. They are reasonable to me, considering the great service and quality of food we received.
At a time where our high street independent businesses are closing due to increased costs and buiness rates, we should be supporting them not whining about how you could get your breakfast a few quid cheaper at Wetherspoons!

A local gem! South Woodford best kept secret - a lovely brunch spot with delicious food and great atmosphere. We will be back!
This time we tried poached eggs on avocado toast (they were amazing) and steak baguette (one of the best hot sandwiches we have had in London). For sides we had frites and halloumi - both delicious (honestly, a simple side dish but worth mentioning given how good it was!)

Amazing breakfast and friendly staff. The restaurant serves food both in the daytime and also does Tapas on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. The food in the daytime includes full English breakfast, vegetarian breakfast and vegan breakfast. They also do pancakes for the kids if they prefer that. The produce used, such as the eggs, is always very fresh. The coffees and teas ate also delicious.
