Another great evening at Champagne Route bar. Had some fine Champagnes and a drop of rum too. The duck pate with sweet, glazed onions is tops (generous portions always), I'm going to have to highlight my favourite dish there which is the burger and fries!

Really nice find in this new London Docks development. Only a couple of phases of the development are complete so it a bit quiet (which I like). The place overlooks the fountains of Gauging Square. It's a peaceful setting. I tried their brunch menu and had the poached egg with mushroom. Really enjoy

Champagne Route is an excellent venue for intimate or group events. The atmosphere is pleasing and the owner goes the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. I have been a guest since it opened and still cannot get enough of this place.
