Best place in the area for some champagne. The owner Paul is very knowledgeable. Been here several times. Update 23 Sept 2023: just had another great evening, thanks for the champagne recommendation.

Paul hosted a private event for our Daughter's First Holy Communion. Compliments from us and our guests . The food, wine/cremant and setting was perfect for a lovely summer's day. Thank you so much for organising this and we highly recommend.

I am so glad that we found this gem. Super intensive champagne menu, well matching food menu, cozy ambiance, friendly service, and good price. Everything was wonderful. We had two delicious champagne, one is brut nature 2014 blanc de noir and the other is brut (100% Pinot Meunier, first time trying 100% Pinot meunier). Both were very reasonably priced. The owner Paul was kindly explained about the makers, production scale etc. I could definitely sense his passion and love for champagne, especially for the ones made by the boutique champagne houses. This place became one of my favorite places in London!

First time going on recommendation of a friend. A fairly small place but with an extensive wine and champagne selection, all from independents and not your normal high street fair. Had a fillet steak which was just delicious! Well worth a visit

Lovely bar, decent food, knowledgeable staff. Been a regular here for a while on and off as the bar is a few min from the office. Paul the owner is a very knowledgeable and experienced bar keep. His passion and experience with champagne is sound. I personally enjoy the "glass of the week" or "the special of the week", you get to try lots of high quality bottles by the glass from small producers. Worth a trip for fans of the bubble.

Another great evening at Champagne Route bar. Had some fine Champagnes and a drop of rum too. The duck pate with sweet, glazed onions is tops (generous portions always), I'm going to have to highlight my favourite dish there which is the burger and fries!

Champagne Route is an excellent venue for intimate or group events. The atmosphere is pleasing and the owner goes the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. I have been a guest since it opened and still cannot get enough of this place.

I went with a friend last night to Champagne Route and we had the most lovely time. The staff was friendly and attentive, the restaurant has great ambiance, cosy but sophisticated. We shared the Bruschetta with parma ham and tomato garlic sauce to start, which was delicious, I particularly loved the sauce that had a mousse like texture and the careful presentation of our meal. For my main I had the Confit Chicken, mushroom ballotine, pan fried kale, red wine sauce garnished with pomegranate - which was cooked to perfect tenderness. My friend has the Gruyere and asparagus tartlet with mixeld leaf salad, which I didn't have a chance to try but was told was delicious! We matched our food to the house wine, both perfectly lovely. All in all we enjoyed the atmosphere and food and look forward to coming for food again!
