Good place to eat out if you are in Bluewater centre. The quality of food is good but not excellent. It takes little more to reach that level.
The service was also OK but it could be better.
I liked the soup with bread and the fish cakes. The salad was Ok as well.
I do recommend the restaurant but for me it is just another place to eat.
I love the food here and the service is always excellent.
Everything is always cooked perfectly and nothing is ever too much bother for the waiting staff.
My daughter also enjoys the food here too so it’s a win win!
My first and won't be the last visit Malabar curry comes recommended good portions for the Kids menu too, good atmosphere and my family of five were easily accommodated without a booking :)
First visit and pleasantly surprised. The seafood menu is varied and service was quick. Staff were courteous, won't hesitate in recommending and will return in the near future.
Good service and food. I have knocked off a star as I was not overly impressed with the calamari
The terrace outside is fantastic when weather is nice. Good seafood in general, not outstanding in quality but satisfactory for the money spent. Good service too although waitress clueless about wines.
Went to this restaurant for the first time last week. Didn’t know it existed. I loved the food (steak and lobster) couldn’t fault any of of it! Chips were good portions and arrived piping, steak was cooked to perfection, lobster was a dream. I would say my husbands steak was a bit too fatty but mine was fine. The waitress was friendly and had excellent customer service even with a baby bump. This is my new favourite place.
Great lunch with our 5 year twins. Staff lovely and relaxed with them. Best children's menu I think I've ever seen and very reasonably priced. Great mussels. Definitely worth a visit.
Would like to have given a 3.5. We generally go here for our anniversary meal out. Haven't been for a while as last time out we were underwhelmed due to overcooked lobster. This time we had a lovely meal but some common themes let them down. For example we often choose dishes with whole prawns or something which requires fingers and they don't give you a finger bowl or wet towel. Whilst the quality of the napkins are excellent you still need a freshen up. They also love to overcook everything. We both had the mixed seafood grill and both salmon and white fish were overcooked and dry. The squid was a little tough. Crispy skin is great but not dry fish. It was however full of flavour and the lobster butter was nice. We will go back as enjoy eating here.
The Bluewater branch restaurant has got a nice, authentic feel to it. Fairly big, with seating inside the restaurant, as well as out in the lobby area. My family and I had a reservation for 17:00 on a Saturday but there was plenty of availability for walk-ins. From about 17:30 the restaurant was almost full to capacity so to avoid disappointment, I would recommend making a reservation, just to be on the safe side if you plan on dining after 17:00.
The oysters were absolutely amazing and every dish came out cooked to perfection. Will definitely be returning for more!
