Really nice staff and great food will definitely recommend to anyone
Love the Sir John Franklin - very friendly. What’s not to like? See you soon Gary & Alison!
It was absolutely amazing, the pub was full there was a party on with karaoke and it was outstanding. How often can you turn round and say you made 6 new friends in a bar you'd only just walked into. Everyone was nice and welcoming and to top it off the beers good too
Nice pub within a local community. The only issue is prices are the upper end for drinks. But when you're used to weatherspoons prices, it's always hard to compare when you do go local.
Great old pub with a history near London. The drive from london just 30 minutes. All kind of beer wine and ale. Staff is very friendly and cordially. The pub old collection of mugs, glasses and utensils is its feature. It is on bank of river and outside sitting is there to enjoy all the days. Good arrangement to watch sports. Games playing arrangements. Accept cash and cards.
This is a pub in Greenhithe village near Dartford. I am staying in this pub for 4 days. Very very reasonable priced 25 pounds a night that includes a small room with tv and cereals , tea or coffee in the morning. Fridge , microwave and bathroom are shared but they are clean and not overcrowded as its got 3 rooms altogether, so I can live with that. Pub owner is friendly, there's separate entry if you don't want to use pub entrance. I will add some pictures tomorrow.
Google asked me to write a review so sure! My cousin gave me a lift home and we went to pick up my mother in the pub on the way, waiting outside the music was decent... yw
I stayed here for Eight weeks whilst taking a course at the Able Skills college. The Rooms on the first floor are small but are clean and friendly with an amazing view of the river. Two of the three rooms on the top floor have an even better view of the river. The rooms on the top floor, given to guests staying for longer periods, are beautiful and for the price I paid I was more than happy with with what I was given. There is a large Asda five minutes walk away and Greenhithe train station is just ten minutes. It's also around an easy ten minute drive to Dartford itself.
The Landlord and staff were very pleasant and he has done a great job repainting and refreshing the building. If I did undertake another course at Able Skills in the future I would definitely look to stay here again.
Please ignore the negative reviews by other morons complaining about the landlord and random petty little things as they are untrue and unjustified.
Fantastic pub great landlords and staff I will always stop for just 1 😜 if im passing xx
Great pub ! 30 mins from Greenwich London
Next to river, very cozy interior, great pictures and decor inside
Lovely old worldy pub which must go back to the times when gentry and wealthy business men would draw up in a horse and cart from London and stay for the night before setting off next day to Canterbury and beyond . A blessing to be able to sample the vibes of years gone by in such a quaint village on the banks of the Thames . That said , the food and drinks available make the experience all the more pleasant at a very reasonable price with cheerful staff to top it all off
Lovely setting, a characterful pub, a few friendly locals, very helpful staff
