Cafe Bongio

Been here for lunch twice now, and if ever I'm back in the area I'm certain I'll return. The cafe itself has a lovely welcoming atmosphere, modern in design but with definite Italian inspiration. The wait staff are all incredibly friendly, courteous and helpful (on my second visit one of the waitresses remembered by drink order from the previous day and offered it to me as soon as I sat down!) As for the food, although it is perhaps on the slightly pricier side, though not by much for slightly upmarket cafe fare, all that I have seen and sampled has been delicious, prepared and presented to a high standard and well worth the cost. The pasta dish in particular was a generous sized portion and definitely enticed me to return and try the rest of the menu. All of my cappuccinos were lovely too, well rounded flavour with no unpleasantly bitter after taste, although I seemed to get more chocolate sprinkled on top with each cup I drank! In all a great experience and one I would recommend to anyone who finds themselves in the area!
