Me and my partner have been coming here for many years now and never had an issue, food is very good and the cost is even cheaper. Bar staff are friendly, kind and helpful. We always come back because we know we will always get a quality experience
Been here a few times now with my partner, never had a bad meal yet. The food is lovely and a bargain too. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a yummy meal with a pleasant environment
Me and my partner come here regularly. We are always made to feel welcome and the food has always been really good. The staff are so friendly and it's a lovely family atmosphere. It's also great value for money as we usually get 2 main meals and a drink for just over £20. Highly recommend this pub for a visit you won't regret it. Steph x
Wednesday early evening. Car park appeared smaller with introduction of impressive looking outside open cabins, hence entering car reg number at the bar (different?) Not booked but seated immediately in roomy 'restaurant' area. Good menu choice with several sizzling options. Very reasonably priced, particularly two selected mains for £11 weekday afternoon / evenings. Partner's steak a little tough but instantly offered free dessert. Quick service, decent atmosphere. Will be returning soon to try out two for £11 ! 👍
The staff are always welcoming and the food is always hot on arrival and delicious. My daughter is 7 and she loves visiting because of the attention she receives from every staff member. A brilliant local pub. Thank you! No improvements required. From the Templemans.
Overall a 4* but to be honest not the fault of the pub.
I came in with a bit of a chip on my shoulder after being scammed at a previous pub. Ironically for a similar reason (Parking fees - this seems to be a thing now).
Upon arrival the first and only zap stand said not to pay, and one bartender immediately said the same. The main barman we spoke to handled a slightly odd order well, offered options for switches on food, and upsold a double to me nicely.
Food was spot on. Couple of people at a nearby table were a bit off, and evidently a bit snooty. But yeh. 5/5 service and food was a solid 4/5. Definitely 100% recommended. Can't blame the pub for a set of people who were just high n mighty.
Food was good . Although Jess for got the nachos but never charged me for them . Got chicken bites free instead. Jess is great xx
We visited on the off chance as a treat for my daughters 7th Birthday. Had no expectations and the customer service blew me away. They made such a fuss of my daughter with a special pudding and balloons. Considering they had no prior warning was incredible. Food was piping hot and tasty, what more could you want from your local pub?
This was our first visit here,the food was brilliant, and was nice and hot and nicely presented. All the staff members were really friendly and chatty even though it was busy, will definitely be going again soon
The food is consistently good, which is a bonus. Not had a bad meal yet. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. We have told friends who then visited the Kings Head and they felt the same. A cheerful place with enjoyable food. Keep up the good work !!
