The White Hart

Popped into have lunch ,bottle of wine and a catchup with a friend yesterday. There was no one in so we could sit anywhere. I haven't been in here since it was the smokehouse and the food was really nice n loads of it.the restaurant is done out lovely it's very clean .the lady behind the bar(elle) was also lovely n chatty. She did get a few more tables in whilst we were eating .definitely will go back

£2.50 for 2 onion rings,but described as a stack on the menu,I hate it when you get conned.Otherwise it's a 5 star,everything else was spot on and the service was fab. Very nice inside and a good selection of keg beers,just let down by the onion rings as if you said £1.25 for each onion ring nobody would be daft enough to buy them.

The three most Important aspects of dining out were all met with a very high standard on my two visits since reopening. The food that I and my friends had on the different occasions was spot on. My choice was the chicken pie with buttery mash and veg and both times the whole meal was wonderful. I did see other people's meals as they were brought out and the fish and chips looked amazing so that will be my next choice! Service was as you would like it, polite, efficient and attentive without being intrusive. The place itself is just a really nice place to be. It's extremely smart and comfortable with a lovely atmosphere and it was good to see a decent amount of people in there at lunchtime. Hopefully this continues and The White Hart has much continuing success, as it is well deserved.

The owners have really gone to town on this lovely old pub,the decor is absolutely fantastic. Made very welcome from the moment I stepped through the door. I ordered the sirloin steak and a pot of tea, and I have to say it was bloody lovely! The portions were plentiful, and the steak was cooked to perfection. The pricing was spot on, and all in all, I had a very nice evening . Thanks to Lee and his team ,I would recommend this venue to anyone.
