GIANT MUGS OF TEA! A breakfast as Grindleford cafe is like no other! Massive portions, massive mugs of tea and everything you could want from a full English! The venue is nothing special and could even argue was basic in nature but that’s what makes it so perfect! Just a simple well cooked and hearty breakfast! Watch the trains go under the tunnel afterwards and walk off your full tummy!

Great spot for a bit to eat whilst walking in the area.
We had the chip butties which were huge for the money.
Nothing fancy but for great cheap food this is great.
Make sure you pay for parking with the ringgo app if parking on the street directly on the hill. Only £2.40 for the day.

This cafe is not what you normally come across at a railway station. I have been going here for many many years and in most ways it hasn't changed. It's perfect for walkers and for large groups,children and families. There is indoor and outdoor seating and dogs are welcome. Food isn't fancy but it is very hearty. Tea and coffee are served in mugs which is greatly appreciated after a good walk. Tables aren't cleared very well outside which when busy can let this facility down. However I would recommend this cafe.

really lovely cafe, the service was amazing as was the food. lots of outdoor and indoor seating with beautiful scenery surrounding. lots of enticingly great walks on its door step. would highly recommend for a day out or a stroll.

Great food, great value, great service! My friend spilt salt all over his meal, went to buy a new one, and the staff replaced it free of charge. I've been many times over the years and always have a great time. Truly a special place!

Had a visit yesterday, full English was very good. The ladies serving were very welcoming Kirstie who served me had her little daughter gurgling about in a walker which made the atmosphere very homely. Definitely visit again although I bet during the weekend it'll be rammed.

Great helpful staff, thankyou for your service today ( we were the walking group of 13) we came in like a whirl wind and caused a bit of chaos. We only had coffee today but will definitely be back for the lovely breakfast soon!
