We have always walked past but never been in...not sure why but we have certainly missed out!! Staff were extremely welcoming. Romeo, our waiter for the night was very attentive and the food was delicious. We will certainly be returning
Another lovely meal as always, the staff here are so friendly and attentive! And the food is always cooked to perfection. I always “Try” not to have any bread, but it’s just too good to resist! Will be back soon for more 😊
Great value for a great meal. I tried the steak with fries and it was delicious! Great customer service, quick and helpful. Great presentation. The desserts were amazing. I recommend the chocolat fondant and the tarte citron. I'm definitely coming back to try some starters and the English breakfast!

A great venue for a quality meal. Excellent quality steak, perhaps cooked slightly longer than I'd expect. Good attention to detail and a solid wine list.

Lovely atmospheric restaurant in a great part of Guildford. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is as delicious as it sounds on the menu. I especially recommend the chocolate fondant for pudding. Will definately be visiting again soon.

It was my partners birthday. We were made to feel so incredibly special. I took in a 🎂& 🎈at lunchtime andrey took them & said he would sort it. He let me pick a table. From that moment Nothing was too much trouble. I called tge restaurant and they answered & said everything is ready, don't worry, see you soon. We had the steak to share which melted in the mouth & my partner said the best steak he had ever had. The complimentary glass of prosecco was such a lovely touch & our waiter took some photos of us. 1 is so lovely we are having made into a canvas to hang on the wall. The experience your team created made memories that will last a lifetime. We have both been raving about how brilliant cote was to our friends and family. My partner had never been to a cote before and can't wait to go back. You have 2 cote customers for life!! We can't thank you enough for the effort that you put in to making us feel special. If we could give you 6 🌟 or 10 wece would!! To anyone deciding between cote and another restaurant please go to cote you won't be disappointed. You will find a little gem 💎 of a restaurant with an experienced team that are well trained and care about their customers
We chose the Fixed Price menu for a pre-theatre supper for five of us. The food choice, quality and portion size were spot on. The service was attentive and very prompt throughout. Overall it was excellent value for money.
Very cozy French bistro in Guildford, friendly staff and reasonable price. I have been here several times and overall food is around average, don’t order steak frites, take the ribeye instead.
Great restaurant. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. My mum had a small wedding party (10 people) here and it was lovely. Very good for allergies. With little flags on the dairy free options we picked. Overall I would definitely visit again. The food was very good.
Nice French restaurant, friendly waiters. The starter (Crab Maison) was somewhat neutral but the Fish Stew exceeded my expectations. It’s a chain but they are doing their best in Guildford to make the experience nice and tasty.

Excellent service without being overbearing, they made *such* a tasty "babyccino" for our little one, my vegan breakfast was scrumptious (best vegan bacon and sausages I've had) and my wife really enjoyed her Eggs Benedict. Great coffees too!
Really delicious food and a great atmosphere. It is a bit on the expensive side, but is worth it. The staff are friendly and attentive, too. One waiter in particular was fantastic with my young daughter, chatting away to her, and making us all feel comfortable.

Wonderful brunch with friends here on Sunday. They have plenty of seating, some fantastic breakfast/brunch options and really speedy and friendly service. Coffee was also good so we were very impressed with our visit and will definitely return to check out the champagne brunch deal (any breakfast dish, glass of champagne and juice or coffee for £17.95) Tip- if you’re driving into town then it’s best to park at the Castle Street or Sydenham Road car park and wander down to the restaurant.
