Don't think you can get this good woodfire oven baked pizza next to beautiful forest, anywhere else in the UK. Great food coupled with great service. Will definitely visit again

It is beautifully tucked away and has transformed from a sleepy (rather nice) old local for dog walkers and horsey sorts to a gastro pub. Had a truly excellent pizza. It also serves some nice local beers

Excellent pizzas by Achilles at this traditional pub. Great selection cooked in wood-fired oven. Highly recommend! We’ve been here 4x over 10 days for lunch and dinner. Cozy interior and welcoming tent outside.

Set within a historical building with split levels, surrounded by fields, William IV is an amazing place to escape. We’ve only visited once but it felt like quite a warm and romantic setting. The food and ambience definitely have the sophistication of London pub without being in London. The service was relaxed and friendly and the decor was rustic and congruent with the pubs history.

Ok so a local establishment today, just a spot of lunch after a beautiful walk. Little did we know these guys and girls do the BEST PIZZA imaginable, and served all day!!!

I have just returned from lunch with my family of six we sat next to the roaring fire which was regularly topped up by staff and it was just spectacular! every Sunday we visit somewhere different for family lunch and throughout Surrey this was just the best roast I’ve had. My husband is a chef and not easily pleased but he was on this occasion. The Sunday roast sirloin is simply divine. The surrounding is beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful I loved it there. Beautiful food, great choice of beer and wine and a fabulous experience. I recommend it completely you can’t go wrong especially with the lovely fire. We can’t wait to return. Thank you William IV !
