Great atmosphere, reasonably priced. The small plates are delicious. We got the tacos, sliders, and squid, all were very good. Great selection of drinks on tap. The brownie is great as well. Don’t order coffee tho, no one seems to know what an americano is and was handed a double espresso without milk or sugar. Newer staff member aren’t trained adequately but are still trying their best with what they were given.

We liked this place. It's got a great vibe - mostly young crowd, which, coming from Sunninghill (aka more accurately known as "Sunninghill Retirment Village"), is a breath of fresh air! - great prices and surprisingly good food for the price (had steak and the burger). There were some small hiccups on what drinks were available (my wife's two favourites were not available the night we went, despite being on the menu, but these things happen, and the bar staff were apologetic and helpful, so no biggy). Parking free once you register your car on the screen inside. Dogs allowed 👍🙏. Shame it's not my local.

Stoke pub in the centre of Guildford, close to Guildford college and Stoke park is one of the coolest pubs in Guildford and Surrey. The pub is very much appreciated by locals and outside town visitors having a very warm vibe with beers, cocktails, wine and wooden grill live pizza place. Most party goers drink and start their night here before hitting any night club in Guildford which helps them to manage their club drink expenses.

Some good deals on food... I don’t think there were enough staff on the day I went. Not sure if it’s always like that. Nice surroundings, beer garden. Food was typical pub food but I enjoyed it. 40 minute wait on the food, but we were informed of this before we ordered so that’s ok. (Communication was good)
