Fish was sooo delicious! It was so tasty even without dipping it into any sauce. Worth more than what I paid for. To top it off, the owner was so friendly and welcoming as well. Nothing I can complain about, definitely come back again for more!

The fish tastes fresh and food served hot. Big food portions and very reasonable price. Staff are really friendly and the shop is noticeably clean. Will only get my fish and chips from this shop. 5 star service.

Great food and reasonably priced
Just over £15 for scampi and chips x2 and 1 mushy peas.
Gets busy on a Friday night but just means everything is super fresh.

Dtill the best chippy ive come across on Guildford. I first wentbhere for college dinners in 1999, and still same guy and same great chips (huge chips too), and awesome value. £2.80 for large chips!

This fish n chip shop has been run by the same couple for many years and is probably one of the best in guildford I've been going there for well in excess of 20yrs. Fish is always fresh with loverly 'light' batter,haddock especially nice chips excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this place. Certainly deserves a 5 star rating.

Yummy ...had our Good Friday fish supper from here and most definitely the best fish n chip shop in Guildford...proper chips and the cod was amazing no skin and the best batter ever..well recommend to anyone whose never been here it's a must !!! 😋😁👍

Large portions, very tasty, excellent value for money. Staff are great. This is the best fish & chips in Guildford. Another shop advertises itself as the best in Guildford - no way, they are vastly inferior in every way. If I can't buy from Stoke Road shop I'll go without.

Just moved in fenced fish and chips.. I ordered haddock which was freshly cooked and chips. Got home opened thought was small potion ( as potion have been bigger in other places I have been ) but once I finished it was just right & no waste at all ( which I have had with other places) Was very tasty not overly greasy. Would definitely recommend and will be going back as two mins down the road..

This is my favourite fish and chips place anywhere. Run by a truly lovely family. Portions are always generous and the prices are reasonable. A true gem at the heart of Guildford. Just perfect.

Honestly some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Don't be fooled by it's understated appearance, you really won't be disappointed!
