Corner House Cafe

We're fortunate enough to live close to Corner House and come regularly. It's a wonderful place suitable for every occasion. Brunch at the weekend, lunch in the week, cups of coffee, desserts, it does everything and always generous portions. The service is always friendly and quick. The entire menu is delicious, but the pick is the Mediterranean Breakfast. I would recommend to anybody.

Lovely place. Stopped in for lunch with my daughter today. The staff were fantastic and made the place. A lovely homely feel. Reasonably priced for what we had. Cheese toastie and chips. Very nice indeed. The lack of a star is for nothing more than the cheese for me being a little bland. However my daughter gave it all a big thumbs up and 5 stars. So that's enough for me. We will be back to try more of the menu for sure. It was packed and that speaks highly of how much this place is loved by locals I reckon.

Received a friendly greeting at the door and were seated immediately. We ordered the meat and veggie versions of the Mediterranean breakfast between us (only difference being the sausage). We're keen foodies, and it's not an understatement to say that these were some of the best breakfasts we've ever had - all components of great quality and cooked to perfection, and the portion size was impressively generous (the salad could easily have been a side dish on its own) without being impossible to finish. The coffees and smoothies we ordered were equally fantastic, and everything was delivered to the table very promptly in spite of the place being almost full. The decor may not be much to write home about (not important to us, but perhaps to some), but the space was comfortable even though it was busy. At under £20 each with free parking around the corner we will definitely be coming back again.
