Fabulous!!!really loved this place full of old worldly charm and elegance
We both had good old fashioned fish and chips wow best fish I've ever had the food and drink terrific
The service was also second to none
Thank you we will return and highly recommend :)
We eat in a window alcove with a view over the golf area. The place had an old world charm and the service was good. There's a restaurant which looked busy. We wanted a snack and had nachos with guacamole, sour cream, jalapeño and salsa which looked homemade. We also opted for haggis on it as well which was crazy but scrummy. Would definitely recommend this place. It's off the main road so watch out for signs.
We first walked into The Old Clubhouse in February and since then it has become our local. Absolutely love the food served, always fresh and tasty and never changes you get what you order. Have a pint or even a half pint if you not up to a whole pint. Staff are just wonderful and have become a second family to us. The Loaded Nachos is a delight but do so recommend you come hungry as it’s a super large portion and more than filling. Fish and Chips (Large or Small portion) and the Angus Burger (always add the cheese & bacon) and chips are a treat which must not be missed. The fireplace in winter is a warmer for all and just adds to the already warm atmosphere of all who wander on in. The bar is Not a stand up bar so note you will have to be seated to order a drink or two. I would highly recommend booking in advance.
The Old Clubhouse in Gullane is a delightful dining spot. Their homemade food is a highlight, especially the haggis nachos, which are a must-try. The Cullen skink and corn and chicken soups were delicious and hit the spot. However, the limoncello cheesecake presentation left something to be desired; I prefer my cheesecake on a plate rather than in a glass. Overall, a great experience with tasty food.
We sat inSide with nice views of the golf course. Inside was cozy and rustic. Menu quite cosmopolitan with Italian influences- good size portions and tasty. I had the haddock and prawn pastie and friends had chicken nachos and ham hock with pickled cauliflower- not haute cuisine but tasty and wholesome. Good range of beers and spirits.
We turned up in this restaurant without any reservations but the staff were very helpful and gave us a table. The food was great. The prices were fair. I can highly recommend this place. We will definitely come back again.
We love this place always visit when we stay in Gullane. Fab pub serving great fresh tasty food lovely selection of beers and wines, friendly staff make you feel welcome nothing seems to much trouble. A
great little 9 hole pitch and putt outside the kids love it. A visit is a must if your staying in the area.
Always a nice pint and a friendly service. I didn't eat on this occasion, but the food is always top notch when I do! Nice range of ales, beers and lagers, as well as a large selection of gin and whisky... and a large wine list too. Highly recommend 👍
Food was lovely and really enjoyed my coffee, service was polite.
We went in on the off chance and we were pleased to find plenty of tables, however our table was booked but they happily offered us another if we wanted to stay longer. Enjoyed it and there was no obnoxious music to drown out our chat. !!
Popped into here at the recommendation of a local friend and we weren't disappointed. Friendly staff, charming ambience, delicious meal. My vegetarian dish was fantastic and the hubs was delighted with his steak. And a courtesy ride home. Truly a fantastic evening.
This is an absolutely awesome place. We stumbled across it coming back from North Berwick and watched the third round of the 150th open here for a few hours. Such a cozy place to hide out and feels very local and communal. Great staff and excellent food.
Loved this place. Great friendly atmosphere, lovely staff. Dog friendly too. The loaded nachos were the best I've ever tasted. Highly recommend a visit.
