Superb hospitality from Tara and the staff.
This place looks fantastic... Really clean and inviting.
The king's head serves a huge selection of wines and bottled beers aswell as the usual tipples.
A live fire really brings the warm cosy feel to the whole pub.
This is a great pub with great people.

Love the landlady (and the whole team), she brings a really welcoming, friendly atmosphere. Food is great and good value, good choice of beers and wines and recent refurb makes it a really nice place. Would recommend it to anyone.

Midweek at 5 pm, pub was quiet but not empty, food was great, hot, good size portions, we had chicken strips and Calamari to start with. Next steak & ale pie also wild venison pie. Both were fantastic, tasty, hot, and very filling so much so we couldn't eat dessert, staff helpful, happy and very polite, very nice place to have a meal, if you get the chance give them a visit.

Great for Sunday roast - extra pigs in blankets and cauli cheese went down a treat. Great selection of wines and beers. Dog friendly in all parts of the pub. Really great service - everyone was very friendly

We had an absolute delightful delicious Sunday lunch. Even with limited staff on duty, we were attended to extremely well. Quality of food was spot on. I'd highly recommend a visit to this beautiful high street pub.

Great pub. We went to Hadleigh for a walk and decided to stop here for a drink. Ended up having lunch in their beer garden which is beautiful. The food was amazing. We had fish and chips and the pie and were very impressed.

We visited The Kings Head on Tuesday evening, as soon as we entered we were greeted by a lovely member of staff and shown to our table and drinks order taken.
My son suffers a gluten intolerance and our waitress checked with the chef if his order was safe for him to eat.
The food was well presented, hot and delicious. Prices are what you’d expect in the current climate.
We visit Hadleigh at least once a year to see family and will definitely return to The Kings Head again. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Visited the Kings Head earlier today for lunch with my son. We really enjoyed our lunch. We shared the baked Camembert to start which was lovely and very filling. I had the double burger and my son had the chicken burger.
I would say that their chicken burger was the absolute star of the show. Looked and tasted amazing and the fried chicken was much larger than expected.
Sadly my beef burger wasn’t quite as good but still pretty decent. It was maybe a little dry for my liking but still 4/5.
Overall we really enjoyed our lunch and would definitely recommend.
