Wonderful afternoon tea,one of the best we have had. Lovely fresh sandwiches, good scones with clotted cream and jam and delightful tiny cakes. Large portions and boxes supplied to take home anything you couldn't eat, staff very attentive and welcoming, will definitely return and would definitely recommend

Simply the best! We’ve enjoyed afternoon teas all over the place but never one that has bettered this one. Absolutely delicious. If you don’t agree, you must be very hard to please. Super service from delightful staff in very cozy and attractive surroundings. Clearly very popular with the locals. We shall be back.

What a delightful place for afternoon tea. Our table by the window was reserved on arrival, which was a surprise and most welcoming. The food was very well presented and the staff courteous and eager to please. Thanks for a lovely afternoon.

Not knowing what to expect from The Homely Maids afternoon tea have to say my wife and I we were very impressed. The variety of sandwiches and quantity were excellent . The scones were fine which came with butter, clotted cream and jam. The mini cake were also delicious. The pot of tea, which came with a hot water jug, was proper made with tea leaves. Excellent value and would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent afternoon tea for four. Sandwiches and cakes were gorgeous. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. To cap it all they put up a birthday banner for my 95 years young mother in law. Wish I lived nearer so I could go back. Highly recommended 👍

We received a warm welcome on our first visit during the first lockdown. The ordering process was explained clearly and nothing was too much trouble. Delicious sandwiches, cakes and scones! We’ve had a couple of takeaway afternoon teas since - perfect! Highly recommended 😻

Scones made to order few hours before, everything so fresh, enough water for 5 cups of tea, we especially liked the egg mayo and ham sandwiches staff very attentive, deffo go back again
