I visited Pizza Express last night with all my family to celebrate my daughters 16th Birthday. Considering they had 16 meals to get out to the table. It was all correct, hot & delicious. But the one thing that made my night is our waiter Luigi. He couldn't do enough for us & he made sure that my daughter had a lovely evening. So thank you. We will definitely be returning 😊👍🏻
We are new to the UK but have found this place to be our pizzeria of choice! Good employees, good food, good atmosphere! A little pricey but it is worth it! Thank you, Pizza Express!
Really enjoyed the polenta chips; light, crispy, with a terrific honey mustard dip. The dough balls are always a favourite. Tried a Pizza Romana for the first time and it was excellent. The children’s menu is excellent value and good choice of dishes. Honeycomb cream slice was a great dessert to finish. Very good service from the lovely staff and and a nice restaurant for a family dinner.
We just had a pizza party for my youngest daughter and couldn’t be happier. The kids had a great time and the staff was truly amazing! Massimo, the Manager and Freya, our party host were fantastic with the kids! Thanks :)
Food was lovely as is always, wasn't extremely busy but had plenty of staff working. Was slight delays but always served politely.
The food saved the day! Pizza phenomenal but unfortunately the service was so poor, burned calamari served and sent back waited around 40 minutes for our food and generally the service was seriously lacking. This has always been one of the best restaurants in the chain and the pizza always of top quality. But if you're looking for good service well then brace yourselves, you may be disappointed.

We visited Pizza Express, Hale, Ashley Rd last Saturday (1st). There were 4 of us and 3 of our party, including my daughter are coeliac, I have allergies too- nuts, tomatoes and milk we are also a mixture of vegetarian and vegan.
I hope I have the names correct- Our server Max is outstanding at his job, the service is fantastic here, he went through the menu with us and explained the app to us. Brilliant waiter! The manager, who has recently been promoted, Reser, is an asset to your management team, he went above and beyond ensuring all our food was perfect and all our allergies and intolerances were taken very seriously, he too helped us with the pizza express app, which we appreciated greatly, we had a lovely talk with him about his journey with Pizza Express and how much he enjoys working with his team and for the company, as a customer I felt his love for his job, his care and passion and that shone through to all of us. Thank you.
Thank you to the chef, Jee, food outstanding and everything perfectly cooked- nothing was any trouble, it truly is delicious food! Thank you to Freya too, who also looked after us, her menu knowledge and care is phenomenal. We all appreciate how much you all as a team looked after us thank you, we will definitely be returning.

Pizza Express in Hale is a great family restaurant. The food is the same as any Pizza Express (which I like anyway), but in my opinion what distinguishes this restaurant from others across the others country (and I've been to many!) is the customer service. The staff are extremely friendly, efficient and brilliant with kids, especially on birthdays. As a result the restaurant is often full with families and young children creating a vibrant atmosphere. We've been coming here for years, made a number of friends amongst the staff, and never been disappointed with this restaurant. Five stars, no brainer.
Went for lunch and great food and atmosphere as usual! The service from Faith was great and Jan and Maci in the kitchen cooked the pizzas perfectly!
