Towngate Brasserie

This was my first visit having found many lacklustre Chinese restaurants locally and needing a change. Well worth the 30 min drive ! The quality of the food, the portion sizes and the flavours of everything we tried were incredible. A fabulous experience from the moment the phone was answered when we called to book - right through to leaving the building more than satisfied with everything (and every member of staff we met) Amazing and we will be back.

My partner and I visited this little gem last weekend and what a find ! We were going to get a takeaway but decided to eat in. The food was amazing with the best salt and pepper chips I’ve ever tasted ! At first glance the prices seemed on the expensive side but it includes your rice or chips with it so overall it’s reasonable. It comes well presented aswell. The staff were lovely and attentive nothing too much trouble explaining what the different dishes were Sharon is a little bit bonkers and worth a visit just to meet her 😂 Would highly recommend looking forward to visiting again soon.

First time going to The Imperial and everything from going in to going out was fantastic! Welcomed in and had a drink before going to the table and Sharon went through the menu and looked after us throughout and had a few laughs with us. The serving size is just right with the food and the presentation was beautiful too. The taste was beautiful, real flavour to the food. The prices are just right. Will 100% be going again! Thanks again for the beautiful meal. Nice selection for vegetarians too!

Just had a lovely meal here. Great tasting food, especially the crispy duck pancakes. This cuisine is not what i usually go for and i was more than pleasantly surprised. Huge portion sizes and extremely efficient service. Sharon is incredibly friendly and attentive, and like a family member ensured we were well looked after and cared for. Will be returning!
