Visited here on Wednesday for lunch and it is located in a perfect setting the Piece Hall. Extremely tasty burgers, with great patties, and decently priced too. Would definitely recommend the Okey-Smokey burger.

We love Elder! The food is always top notch and the atmosphere relaxed and casual. The chef creates interesting dishes using quality ingredients. This evening, we had roast lamb breast and roast belly pork for our main courses. They were so tender and moist.
For dessert, we had the blueberry sponge with coconut cream and baked cheesecake, both of which were to die for.
The service at Elder is always friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere relaxed and casual.
We had a decent bottle of Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon, which we both enjoyed and which we considered good value for money.
We look forward to returning to Elder again and again, and we wish the chef and his team the very best.

Amazing location for people watching with a relaxed atmosphere. The food was absolute perfection, expertly prepared and what a taste. With the kitchen opening into the dining area it really smells amazing. Will go again outside of Christmas to savour the regular menu.

Delicious food for something a bit more special than a usual meal out. Beautifully cooked food and excellent service make for a thoroughly pleasant evening out.

Took a group of 20 for lunch. It was prebooked so the service was pretty quick. Not one complaint ..... what an achievement!! The food was extremely tasty and the staff friendly and helpful. Being a veggie it was nice to have something completely new ..... the beetroot fritters were delicious. The wine was rather expensive but everything else was reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to take another group to eat here. Well done and thank you.

Had a lovely lunch here earlier today. Some incredible food on offer for great prices. We were happily bowled over. Good drinks too, friendly and attentive staff as well. Highly recommend.

Fantastic lunch in a very pleasant location; staff very friendly and welcoming, with a excellent choice of food and drinks. Highly recommend the meat and cheese board, very generous portions for a reasonable price. We will definitely be back!

It was my first time eating here and I was pleasantly surprised. A cosy restaurant with a nice calm atmosphere. The staff couldn't be more helpful, the waitress recommend the braised beef which was delicious and fell apart. These two dishes look small but they filled me so I had no room for pudding, which also looked amazing! Will be visiting again
