Super nice pub with amazing good quality food at very reasonable prices. I had a special off the board, a T bone steak with garlic mash and it was superb. My chunky Spam fritter starter was also very nice, sent me straight back to my childhood and were super nice.
Could not rate this place any higher - the staff are amazing, the food is great. They did a brilliant job of hosting my family and I for a memorial meal and went above and beyond when my mother-in-laws phone was left!

First time here,nice cosy traditional boozer.nice pint of John Smith's or 3, Family of 4 ,All had starters which were very good 👍,and 4 mains .excellent food,we had no complaints (and I can be a bit picky).The portions are big, no complaints here . Was given a warm welcome by the lady behind the bar
I would recommend paying a visit to this unassuming pub, the staff are all very friendly and attentive. The food is excellent, has a good menu and great tasting. We will be returning next time we are in the area. If you live locally and haven't been to eat the you are missing out.

Amazing food, biggest portions your going to get, all tastes fresh. Lovely staff who can’t do enough for you. Breastfeeding and child friendly! Worth a drive any day of the week ! Thanks to Jo and Jo and all the staff there for making our meals just amazing !

Been here several times when I am back home visiting family. The food is always amazing and has a wonderful family friendly atmosphere. It has a traditional pub vibe to it, which is wonderful. Would highly recommend 👌

Beautifully cooked food; genuinely home cooked to an extremely high standard. Without doubt the best pub meal I've ever had, and better than the majority of posh restaurants I've been to, all at extremely reasonable prices. Desserts are to die for. Staff were friendly and attentive. Nothing was too

Food was good. Massive portions which some would enjoy but myself found a little overwhelming and I have a pretty good appetite. My first drink of cola was flat and not very cold, however my second was very fizzy...think they must have been serving from a bottle supply rather than a tap.
