Excellent for families as well as couples the service today was brilliant in a very spacious restaurant we had a party of two adults two children.The fish(cod x salmon) vegetables is especially good with the special prawn sauce the children enjoyed the pizza and one adult who also had a pizza the children's portion are nearly as big so no one went away hungry the pizza base was beautifully thin and crisp baked to perfection the best you will taste in the area (creme brulee is to die for and tiramisu so much to choice will certainly return too this restaurant
Great decor, great food, great cocktail bar, really friendly staff. This is a real hidden gem of a place. Visit it and you won't be disappointed.

The food has always been amazing, the price is reasonable, the atmosphere is great.
We have been for dinnet and also enjoyed one of their themed nights.
The puctures are from a Frank Sinatra night which was wonderful and would definitely recommend.
We had a big family dinner for 12 here and really enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant was a little too warm on a summer evening but the company was good, the service friendly and the venue comfortable. Parking is very limited around the rear, so get yourself a taxi. A highlight was the superb Yorkshire Lamb, which was the best I've ever had! The sticky toffee pudding and ice cream was also delicious.
There are three things that get my attention
1. Cheerful friendly and helpful staff
2. Prompt service and fresh hot food
3. Hot/warm plates as appropriate
In all cases the team at 22 get full marks. As a trio who 'dropped in' looking for a good lunch we were not disappointed.
The staff were welcoming, and smiled!!
We were quickly seated and drinks delivered.
From ordering to getting the starters seemed like a blink of an eye, but all was clearly fresh. When the mains arrived that trend continued.
Portions were good and of note was the fact that the food remained hot.
The passing checks that all was well were appropriate and not intrusive.
add to the above that the meals were value for money and a top score overall is well deserved.
we will certainly be back in the future, even though we are nearly an hour away in Leeds
Fiest time I had visited. Great service and my pizza was the best I have ever had. Nit being a big eater I only managed half. I wS offered to take the rest home. The boxed it up and my son enjoyed it for his tea the next day. I will definitely be returning.
Great place to eat, food is great and cooked throughout. Had a great experience here with my friends, minus one female staff who wasnt very nice when we had abit of a disagreement with bill, came across very rude. Other than that it was fantastic!
Amazing, wonderful, the next level of Italian food. Wow... highly recommended
The quality of food here is consistently good. My friend and I had a lovely meal, she had pizza from the specials menu and I had pappardelle verdi, which were both equally delicious!
We also had the carrot cake cheesecake, perfect.
Half of the waiting staff were lovely, the other half were kind of miserable and not very friendly.
We were also slightly concerned when the fire alarm went off and none of the staff told us it was false alarm. It would have been nice to know that it does that all the time, instead of leaving your customers slightly panicked and unaware of what was happening.
Overall we had a lovely evening though. And I'd also like to say thank you to the gentleman who took our order, as he was the one who recommended what food we should get.
Superb food that is full of flavour. One of the highlight dishes is the risotto. There is a bar downstairs which we made use of before being seated at our table. Good selection of drinks with some offers available. Food service was a little slow although it was a busy Saturday night. Staff were very friendly and kept us updated
Lunch today (again), it’s always great but today was possibly even better. We always have roast beef and it was absolutely amazing. Love this place ❤️❤️
Wonderful staff - helpful, attentive and courteous. Delicious food including vegan options - the tahini pizza was gorgeous. Will definitely go again.
