Fantastic stay. Room was lovely. Dinner and breakfast were both superb home cooked meals, really high quality. Best was the staff, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Little gem of a place.

We have just had a lovely stay at 1885 The Venue. We were going a wedding nearby so booked this place. Kate welcomed us and was very efficient and friendly. The room was lovely and quiet and breakfast amazing. We had an evening meal in the pub and the service and food were great. I would definitely recommend as a place to stay or eat.

First time visiting on Christmas Eve and had a lovely time! Despite the pub being so full, the staff were so lovely, polite and attentive. There was a great selection of food (not just a set festive menu like most places do on Christmas Eve). The food is well priced, good portion sizes and came out piping hot! My entire party had a great time, we will definitely be returning 😊
