We got a couple of drinks after dinner and went to our room. We came down to get another drink at 9 to find the whole place was closed. Shame. W
Went for Sunday roast and the food was fantastic 😋 the cauliflower cheese with truffle oil was magnificent 👌. Staff great and reasonably priced, overall a lovely experience. Richard

Eat in the pub every few months or so and always enjoy it. Great menu, large portions, lovely staff. Definitely recommended.
The food was amazing, staff really nice and helpful, and the room was really great. We only stayed one night but I think we'd like to stay here again if we visit Halifax.
Went for dinner with work colleagues. Food was superb! Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the lasagne and it was so good!
A little expensive I'm not used to paying £34 for 2 portions of fish n chips but the meal was lovely an didn't eat again that day from lunch . Pretty views and idyllic setting.Staff were friendly and polite.

We have just got home from a wonderful 2 night stay and it couldn't have been better. Due to traffic and road closures we didn't arrive until after midnight and the general manager stayed on to allow us to check in, taking so much stress away!

Over night stay with friends. Friendly , warm welcome , staff lovely. Great quality food from lunch to our evening meal and breakfast.
Lovely spacious , clean room and a nice comfy bed , good shower.
