Called in for a coffee sat outside with the dogs. Friendly polite staff even gave the dogs a sausage. Will definitely be back to try the food next time.

This is the best cafe in west vale 100% the butties are so good and really big two so if you come out of the cafe still hungry I would be really surprised (A STAR ALL AROUND)

The food was good and well presented, though the sausages weren't to my taste. Tea good and strong as requested. The service was very good. I understand the refurbishment is not going as well or as quickly as planned, which does detract from the overall experience.

Called in at a weekday lunchtime. Quite busy but got a table.
Excellent ham salad sandwich. Plenty of salad, thick lean ham and a brew.
Wife just had a plain salad which was also excellent and came with a serving of coleslaw.
Very reasonably priced and the ladies serving were friendly and pleasant.
One to visit again I think

Wellingtons Caribbean Bistro (5pm onwards) has just reopened and is amazing. Fantastic food, large portions, great service, good prices. Not tried the cafe yet, but it can't be far behind quality wise, if at all. 🥰
