Brilliant local pub with decent selection of cask ales, lager and cider, lovely beer garden to the rear, staff very good and friendly, really cozy feel inside, definitely worth a visit if in the area, highly recommend.

What a place, in a row of terraced houses, if it wasn't for the lamp above the door you would miss it. Inside it is a multi-roomed pub with nice ales on hand pull. Very cosy with fires in each room (albeit vintage gas fires), and there is a games room with a dart board. We'll worth the 5 minute bus ride+5 minute walk from Halifax town centre!

Been my local for 50years new owners are very good keeping it as it was updating and catering for smokers could do with less dogs as they smell worst than cigs when wet
Staff friendly always give a warm welcome

Home from home pub, open fires with a warm friendly feel. Good service,good choice of beers. If you didn't know it was there, you would miss it. It is two terraced houses knocked through. Well worth a visit.

It's been a long time since I came here. I'd forgotten what a great pub this is. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Obviously, fantastic beer from local breweries. And friendly and helpful staff.
