Cheap £3 lunch menu, great food! Closed at the moment, looks like refurbishment or maybe takeover.

Took my daughter for the £3 lunchtime meal. I wasn't expecting much but wow! I had the fishcake nicoise with potatoes and my daughter had the hot roast beef sandwich with sides. They were both absolutely delicious and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. Even the salad and dressing were tasty and plentiful. Free soft drinks, then a large hot cappuccino with biscuit just as I like it and a tasty raspberry cheesecake. We were blown away! Excellent value for money. Lovely environment and very helpful and friendly staff. The best lunchtime deal in Halifax in my opinion. Well done to all concerned 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I ate here on a Tuesday, it was very quiet for 7;30pm - only us and one other group in. The music was like being in a club, not exactly background music, but it wasn't too loud where you couldn't talk. The menus were interesting, the drinks were good (apart from there being no olives to put in my Martini) and the food was ok. There were little bits that made it underwhelming, but it was overall ok. The Kimchi fritter was alright although there were a few burnt bits inside, and the chicken burger was a little on the soggy side - lacking that crunch you want from fried chicken. The sauce was lovely though, and the fries were nice. The staff were friendly and professional, the price was a little expensive but reasonable if the food had been the quality I expected. I will try this place again to give it a full experience, as just one time is not a fair chance. I'll add the updated review just at the end of this one here when I go next.

I came today with my family for Mothers Day lunch. The food was excellent very tasty, hot and beautifully presented. The service was lacking a little finesse just little things like spoons not given with soup and coffees. However the new manager and chefs are doing a brilliant job the food was second to none. Good luck in your venture I’m sure in time it will be one of the places to eat in Halifax. Thank you for a wonderful experience

Incredible. Their brand new £3 express lunch deal is unbelievable value. We had a footlong meatball sub and hot roast beef sandwich, with chips. Followed by 2 sticky toffee puddings, which were chunky slices. It was spot on! £3 for mains (including a soft drink) £1 for a side, £1.50 for the dessert!

Excellent choice of food and drinks and not overpriced. Not too many there at lunchtime but I'm sure business will improve soon. Centre of town. Staff very helpful. Will definitely return

Really good value for money. The menu had lots to choose from, and the food was amazing. We had the sourdough pizzas and they were beaut!! Plenty to choose from on the drinks menu and the service was first class. The waitress (Vicky) was watching out for empties and straight over to take our next drink order. So friendly and attentive, really impressed and will definitely return!
