Very enjoyable. The meat is cooked well and a good variety of different meat. The staff were friendly all waitresses serving were great. A good selection of beer. Meat wasn't as warm as I'd have liked but not really important the taste was lovely
Absolutely fantastic! I was hesitant to go here due to the fact I don't like 'Barbecue' food however I was I for a huge surprise.
I had a "Tipsy Yorkshireman sandwich" (though I feel "sandwich" drastically undersells the amount of food you actually receive!) The meats are all absolutely cooked to perfection and stand on their own merits of flavour rather than being smothered on BBQ sauce, which was supplied on the side.
I am very surprised to see negative comments about the chips because I thought they were some of the best chips I've eaten in a restaurant for a long time. Perfectly cooked and the subtle flavouring was divine!
Overall I very VERY highly reccomend this restaurant and very much look forward to returning!
We had the sharing platter for 1-2 people which had an offer of a bottle of wine to go with it for £35. There was more than enough food for two of us, this made it great value for money. The meat was delicious. Service excellent. We would definitely recommend.
Tried the sharing platter, the food was all pretty good. Tender meat, good dry rubs, probably needs some BBQ sauce from these guys but a good start. Chips were cold and under cooked. Babajaks are putting in decent effort and doing a pretty good job of it. Worth a try. However, i believe they need to review their prices, because £12 for a sandwich and side is more than you'd pay in London.
Decent enough place, food was good and reasonably priced. Not many other customers in, so not much of an atmosphere unfortunately, although with only 1 unisex toilet in the place maybe that was a good thing!
Having read some of the mixed reviews I must admit I was a bit curious. However... and I cannot stress this enough...
YOU NEED THIS PLACE IN YOU LIFE.
Food is excellent, service is excellent, prices are beyond reasonable for what you get. If you haven't been here yet then go there.
It's good. Got take out- generous portions nice staff. I've had better BBQ, but not nearby. I'd go again
If you like BBQ,you will love this place. Had the platter,which had brisket,burnt ends,ribs and gaint sausages,wings and so much more,all for any amazing price of£40.for 3of us to share.what we couldn't finish we took home and did us for another meal for 3 people.
Five stars for service. Five stars for the food. The fries? Unimpressed, unless you love McDonald's style.
Would go again but in the summertime as it was cold inside, you should be able to take your coat off when you sit down. The reason for 4 stars.
Absolute gem ....the food was superb the BBQ meat was absolutely delicious ....and the chips were best I've had for ages ......staff were great too ...we had a big family group and everyone enjoyed it
